80 Series OEM Electrical Winch wiring Questions...

What does this wire do? Its located on a 80 series OEM winch solenoid wiring harness. My euro 1993 HDJ80 doesn't seem to have the receiving end of this harness. The winch came off of a 1990 HDJ81. Should I bypass?

I believe thats ignition power from the 80. Essentially it powers the winch only when the truck is on. I can test my winch for you if that means it has to be running or just key turned ON.
