Gday everyone, manual converted my 80 series end of last year, ever since I’ve had an issue when trying to shift into low range. Used a h150 gearbox and the transfer selector from the h150. The transfer on the h150 was a factory part time transfer, which I’m thinking that’s where my issue is. Shift leaver is hitting the centre console before it can get into low. Just curious, anyone had this issue before? Thinking I may have to shorten the selector rod to make it work, but don’t know if that’s going to cause anymore issues. Cheers!

You got the transfer selector rod with the H150?
I don't know about your case specifically, but I know the transfer selector rod from an auto A442F is several inches longer than the transfer selector rod for an H151/H152. The shorter transfer rod is 36308-60150

That could be my issue, got the complete gearbox and part time transfer case with shifters, have managed to lose one of the rods so not sure which once I’ve got installed, must be the auto rod. I’ll try source a new one and see if that fixes it, if I can’t source it I’ll modify my current one. Cheers mate!
