80 died again while crossing a little creek. Dizzy and the air box was completely dry. Finally it started but struggled and died when I pressed the accelerator padel (clutch was fully pressed). No issues when I tried to rave it using the accelerator cable in the engine bay. Pulled it out to a flat surface(from the creek bank) and drove it afterwards. What could be the problem ? Thanks

What no videos?

Any pics or vids of you doing the creek crossing?
No mate, coming back home from the campsite at 12AM. Packed up and crossed first creek 100m away from the campground. I get a bit nervous now when crossing creeks. So as I drove in to the water, I pushed it a bit. Water was only half of the tire height but perhaps due to raving it, it might have got in somewhere again..

Did you hammer through it so it was spraying water everywhere?

If so,the fan on the engine will splash it all over as the water hits it. So, it makes it so everything under the hood get wet.

Odds are this is the O2 sensor connection down on the exhaust pipe. A friend of mine had the same symptoms and that was the cause.
