First post.

First off, thank you to everyone who has built this into a wealth of knowledge that I've been scouring for two years now. The fact that this is my first post is a testament to how comprehensive this repository is.

I've searched everywhere, and can't find a replacement for the bracket featured in these photos. It came out of Nicaragua and they seemed to have rebuilt it with steel rebar, but there's a crack on the frame below it. I have a welder coming out to repair the frame, but I would like to replace the bracket if possible. If not, I guess I can simply re-use it. Looking for knowledge or opinions, or point me in the direction of a thread I haven't found yet.

I have one that has been on my shelf to draw in CAD and have a few made for conversion back from SBC to Toyota.. If you can wait a little bit I will bump it up the priority list :)

We're not far, and have probably a thousand other things you will end up needing. I really hope you don't have the red one with the sketchy SOA that was on Marketplace forever.. that truck was ROUGH  I do some some dangerous steering parts in your pic.

I'm definitely interested in replacing the mount, and happy to work with you on that.

Yep, unfortunately that's mine, and I guess I'm already infamous for it... though I don't take credit for any of the sketchy work that was done before I took ownership of it, I should probably expect to get roasted for buying a POS. FWIW, I'm planning to remove the SOA and bring it back to stock.

The good news is that I found a pristine new body for it, for a great price, which is why you're seeing the frame pictured above. I just had it sand blasted, and in the process of painting it now.

Did you get the green body from Alberto?

Transfer case in the title confused me. Picture shows a right rear motor frame base that actual motor mounts bolts to the bellhousing. On the left rear there is plate welded to the top of the frame for strength. Not sure I see that.

I do second the dangerous steering components. Wheel hits a rock I see relay steering rod buckling in the center where the adjustment is. No way would I drive it like that anywhere.
