Snoozer, whatever Jeff did/didnt do to you, you need to let that go, or take it offline. We all see that you are not happy with him, just keep it between the two of you.

Let's try to keep the thread on track, which is about a truck that is being flipped.

This is a thread about a truck being purchased.

I have no problem with Jeff. I'm just picking apart his comments for the sake of principle and the hipocracy of the whole approach.

It looks as if you guys have done your job. The ebay ad has been updated for the most part to be more truthful. Just to play devils advocate... did anyone see the paint process to know if actual rust was painted over or if it was sanded down and filled properly?

From my experience with my truck, I know you cant "Just paint over rust" per say and have it look like that..

First of all - it no one's "Job" to make me update my ebay ad. But I did receive a great polite e-mail from one of the people on theis tread, and it did make me think I should add some more info.

All rust was sanded, and a few dent pounded out, I would never just paint over rust. I have pictures of the whole process, and have shared them with potential buyers. That is why I put my cell number on the ebay, so people can get a hold of me and ask as many questions, or even set up a buyers check.

All paint/body work was done by Jack up at Edwin's shop, and he does great work.

Iam stepping out of this thread.. you guys have fun., it's no fun when it gets personal between folks.

I think it got personal a long time ago.

Needless to say, we now know the price of friendship. Bidding starts at $10k.

Glad the mud drama flame has been passed off from me with the OCD top to this fantastic 40 flip/sale..... How ya Austin folks doing? Aren't y'all suppose to be the chilled out fun going clan? Merry Christmas everyone!

Mark,

I'm interested in learning more about the rig. Any pics of the cruiser prior to being painted? Is the paint a single or two stage job? Any bondo? Leaks? Pretty much what's the good and bad? Also why did you only paint the outside only? Is there a benefit to this besides not fully investing in doing the paint right? Do all the gauges work? How's the engine compression? Hows the suspension? new springs? new shocks? how about the tires? Any kind of build thread? Receipts for anything you have done? You said that it was at Edwin's, did he by any chance look over it? i don't know what your eBay listing says as I don't have access to it but I would love to learn more.
