In my young driving career I was behind an Econoline Van like that. It was turning left into a driveway. They started turning in and I guess at the last minute they saw a pedestrian and slammed on the brakes. The whole backend came up and off the ground. I puckered, and I have to imagine the driver did too. IDK, maybe they are used to doing stoppies?
Calling all Classic Auto-air guys , ( Scrapdaddy , J-Mac ? ) anybody who has put the Street Rod lll A C in a 55 ?
I just started to install my kit ,will not have AC done this summer , But i want to get the unit installed Now and get the heater part done , I will be finishing the A C as time goes on ? So i will update as that happens .
My ???? to you guys I have seen your fire wall mounts , Can i mount it close to firewall or not ? Any advice is good ,
And everybody have a great 4th of July Thanks
And yes i will bend my 4x4 shift rods
Jim will correct me, but I think we both used rubber mounted studs to mount the unit to the firewall. It cuts down on the vibration, seems to work good. I don't have a link to them at the moment, but @J Mack might show up with it.
Thanks guys , My concern was the elbow for the duct hose on the fire wall for the defrost , it is kind of ( Good and Tight ) I see your mounts and they are great , but my 4x4 shifters would need to be modify , (moved )
Update I will call this the Rubieeee Tube ( Rubicon trail ) If it works I will improve on it , It will be Detachable Do not need in winter ? Still got 2 finish the Passenger side
