Today's progress included repairing the hacked up wheel well, while shifting the rear axle back (Jeremiah's guys take material from the rear and add it to the front of the opening to maintain the OEM shape and provide a bit more driveshaft length to help the angle).

Latest problem with the build before it got to Proffitt's has been identified and resolved. The Hooker header's that were on my engine wouldn't work with the slave cylinder for my NV4500, so these ceramic coated ones were swapped in.

This weeks update: cage and soft top frame are done. Gas tank modified to clear the new transmission hump. Rear suspension is done. Body work also done (except the front fenders - still deciding on OEM fender vs tube like metal tech). Getting pretty close to removing the tub for paint, and still waiting for the replacement front axle from Diamond.

Subtle narrowed and raised OEM fender looks pretty sweet.

I'm leaving the final decision to Jeremiah and Alex (fabrication wizard) once they fab the 3-link front suspension. They're the experts, and so far have NOT suggested/done anything I don't agree with.
