There is some wiggle room for the box. Could have been a little farther forward and/or a little higher on the frame. There is a pic a few posts back that shows the intermediate shaft. Looks like Ill have to take a few inches out of the 60 series shaft Im using. The early 60's use a shaft similar to the 55 with replaceable u-joints. Later ones are non replaceable and smaller.
 
Where is the shock tower in the P/S Picture ? Is it back or removed ?

Shock tower is part of the original PS mount in a 55. Ill be using a passenger side 55 mount on the drivers side OR I will use 70 series shock mounts welded to the frame on both sides. Either way I will use modified 60 series spring plates on the front springs for the lower shock mounts.
