The Comfort Inn is a decent place to stay that is dog friendly. Rates are very reasonable as well. My wife and I have only stayed in a hotel once in Ouray so I don't have anything to compare the Comfort Inn to.

Looks Luke it will be a fun crowd for HIH. Color me jealous, even though I'll be out there 2 weeks after the event.

I cant see at night either. I've got to stay in a hotel this time though.

Are you heading up the SE convoy again?

Yes. There were 7 last year and hope to have more this year. BUT we may be going up a day earlier this time...will start a southern group thread soon.

Booked Saturday Hotel at the Victorian Inn. They seem very dog friendly and should still have rooms available for anyone needing pet friendly accommodations. $177/night after fees (without pet fee of $11).

Great, we're just a few blocks away.

We stayed at Twin Peaks Lodge Hot Springs the first time in Ouray. Not fancy, simple rooms, breakfast, laundry room, natural spring water pool to get kids happy, right bellow these huge peaks, close to everything and right by the road to main camp. If I had to stay somewhere in town I would definitely stay there again. Don't remember cost but should be online. Now, if you are looking for a more refined place to stay with your lady then check Stans suggestion for the hotel in town with the cruiser owner few pages back, can't remember the name but it's nice!

crap , I just got back from a trip and missed registration.... Anyway I am headed out to CO July 8th from ATL and will be knocking around all month. would love to meet anyone out there during that time.

It's always good to mention for everyone to post up here and/or pm/email Chris and Stan about how many attendees are first responders so we know what kind of resource is within our group!
Doctors, nurses, police, fire pediatrician, etc.

Quote the post, add to it and keep the ball rolling.

My wife Sarah is attending and she's an ER nurse for exemple. Many years PALS instructor so knowledge there too!

Allergies is another important issue, my son Caleb is allergic to nuts. We keep an eye out for him and will be close during the potluck on Friday night!

@climberoleg

Thanks @paflytyer looking forward to getting to know yall better!

We chose a poor place last year for a ground tent and spent much of our camp time trying to be dry then giving up and resorting to moonshine....

We are going to be better prepared next year and join in the potluck and bring some craft Budwieser from STL

Craft Budweiser, LOL

I'm a Banquet guy tho when I want a light brew

We knew that this event would sell out quickly, but we were not expecting it to happen in 2 minutes. We are going to be able to add more.

Please send Chris an email to chris@100sinthehills.com. Just give your name and that you are requesting a waitlist spot. There are always folks that register but cannot make the event so we will have more spots to add. We do not want to leave anyone out, but we do need to stay within our permit guidelines. Space is somewhat limited in our main camp area as well. Send an email to Chris right away and we will fill those positions as they come in (and space allows)

We are humbled by how quickly this event has grown into something so popular.

Also, there is a high likelihood that those of you that were required to refresh actually held 2 spots. We're working on that right now. Stand by..... we're on it right now.

Thanks again for all the work you put in on this! I have sent my waitlist request to Chris.

We will get to all the allergy info and medical stuff when we send the official emails out to attendees. That's also when we'll handle trail assignments. We will be running staggered start times for many of the trails this year.
@paflytyer and I are setting out to blow some minds with organization this year (ok, kind of). Folks like @dubitup @krice118 @DanInDenver, @climberoleg etc., expect to hear the early sounding of trumpets as we rally folks to their pre-determined starting points. No more mornings walking around in your pajamas with a Pop-Tart in your hand with solo cup in the other asking when we leave for Black Bear....:)

Thinking of visiting Moab to fart around for a night or 2 after HIH. Been once and loved it, but I was in a rental and only stayed for a few hours. Such a cool place. Anyone else by chance thinking the same? I'll know for sure closer to the date.

I hope y'all are serious about the trumpets. I remember people including myself asking when the meetings are supposed to happen. :)
