I like putting time and effort in rather that paying and slaving for someone else.
 
Just bought a fairly nice tire package for $320 can. Going to put them on this truck in the am. My back is killing me these days and mounting the tires myself ain't easy on it.

Dude this truck is the bomb, seriously. A guy on fb recently posted a pix of his 62 with 750,000 miles which is darn awesome too.

Agreed. I dig it too. Really sweet. Not overkill but still totally protective to the chopped rear quarters.
 
I assumed you were building a front. That looks good. The step down is a nice touch.

When I bought the truck there was this massive train wrecker bumper on the front. I was just thinking about cutting out a bit of a gul-wing out of each lower side.

How to remove 35 year old rusted and seized rubber bushings. Drill the crap outta them.

Unfortunately The only spare springs I had consisted of some huge over loads. And well the shackles were prettty much pooched so....

Don't forget you can't drill out the frame side so I lit a fire and went and had lunch.
