I'm also a 4R owner that's been looking at the used 200's lately, we offered $57k OTD on a 16 with 80kmiles they held at $59k.....then kept going down $200 at a time to $57.8. - Jokers, it's still sitting on their lot 3 weeks later.

We've currently have a 14 Limited 4R lifted and mild build, paid for, and just passed 100k-miles still drives like new. It's our 3rd 4R, previous 98, 2002 sport. I'm finding it super challenging to jump out of a paid for, semi-bulletproof 4R into the 200. We've also got a 14 Tundra Platinum.

Drove my buddy's 2014 LC recently, very comfortable.

Love the 200..... just not sure the extra cost is worth the trade-offs/trade-up

That itch to have a 200 is gonna keep bugging you.

So glad others feel the same as I do. Bought my 2020 4Runner TRD Pro in Army Green back in September and thought I would keep it forever, but after spending 2 weeks in the mountains, I was so disappointed in the lack of power. As has been mentioned, it is constantly looking for the right gear and that TRD exhaust can become maddening. Obviously, the exhaust can be fixed, but the engine... I looked at getting a Magnuson supercharger, but its $6-8k and they aren't even compatible with the 2020+ models yet.

All that said, I am looking to get into a 200 now. The trade in value for the 4R is nearly $5k over what I paid, so if I can find a good 200 deal, I'm going to take it.

I would do the same...I did SC my 4Rnr and it's helped tremendously. But I'd take a 200 any day of the week. My wife loves hers and it's by far the best purchase in our garage.

Only you can decide whether the juice is worth the squeeze, but I don't know of anyone who moved over to the 200 Series from a 120 or 150 Series and felt short changed, myself included.

Currently looking at a 2014 LX570 w/ 53,000 miles on it. I noticed this model on the back has an "S" right under the "LX570" on the rear door. Can anyone tell me what it stands for?

No such thing. Its added fake bling.

Good deal, that's good to know. Looks like I'll be slicing that off if I buy it. They are offering me $32k for my 2016 SR5 4Runner, they $45k for this LX570 w/53,000 mile. Is that a decent price, or should I walk?

That badge is horribly aligned. Was it in an accident?

I know I'm late to the party here. Just want to add that I've never heard of anyone regretting buying a 200. Period.

No I thought the same thing. The previous PO Plasti-Dipped the front grill, the wheels, and it looks like he removed the badge, finished it, and didn't re-install it properly.

That's not entirely true. While this model may have a fake "S" badge. It does appear that a LX570 S may be a legit model overseas. Similar to our F Sport here in CONUS.

Yes it is in our region (GCC)

Some dealers even had a factory 5.7 supercharged version which was very expensive.

Well the factory supercharged option isn't that big of a deal. Our dealership offered to supercharge our LC. I currently have a dealership installed Magnuson 5th gen 4Rnr. So basically the S is the LX version of the Toyota XP package.

Just want to drop in and give an update on the LX570 I was looking at. Got the thumbs up from my bank on financing. Scheduled an appointment at the local Lexus dealership yesterday for a pre purchase inspection.
About 30mins into the inspection the service manager and the mechanic who was doing the inspection, came into the lobby and got me. They took me back to the garage and the mechanic told me that the AHC system is shot. He said that when he lifted the vehicle into high mode to check the suspension, AHC fluid started pouring out all over the rear axle. They both told me to just take it back and don't waste my money buying it b/c I'm looking at around $9k to have the AHC system replaced. Surprisingly they didn't charge me for the 30mins. I took her back to the dealership and told the sales manager about this. I also asked him, that if I was able to get it documented from Lexus that the suspension needs replaced, and what the cost was going to be, if he would be able to reduce the price if I was still interested in purchasing the vehicle. He pretty much told me "the price is the price." and the owner will more than likely not budge. So it looks like we are back to square one lol.

That's a bummer and quite unusual to see a failed system. I am surprised at the quote to repair/replace as well but then again I have never priced it out. At least you found this out prior to purchasing it, a major bullet dodged right there.
