I have 20% (cop measured it at 15%) on the sides and it's tough to see out at night on poorly lit roads. 5% on the windshield is for photo shoots... not driving.

I have 50% on my windshield and 5% on the front. Double 5% on cargo windows....I'm not in a rush at night  I have gotten used to it. Real nice in ATL traffic mud summer day.

Looks good! Guys, windshield isn't tinted as you can see in the picture. You can see out of your mirrors with 5% tint on the front doors no problem.

In no way trying to stir the pot here, but what's the point?? It looks good sure but it's completely detrimental on a expo type rig isint it? Why make it harder to see Offroad, especially at night??

My 2 cents I guess...

I'm not really a fan of limo tint on non black vehicles, but I think it looks great on black. I did 5% on all rear and 15% on the front. 5% would be too dark in the front imo. It is very dark at night and the rear-view mirror is about useless. I think not being able to clearly see through the side windows at the mirror would be a safety issue.

The purple look is a product of the camera, It doesn't look like this in real life.

This is not too much of an exaggeration.

Should clarify, I did everything but the windshield.
Definitely harder to see out the back, but I usually drive forward.

2000UZJ: I want to get my windshield 50%... do you have any problems with fogging or glare?

my windsheild is tinted in the lightest possible shade and it makes a huge difference in the summer. it cuts heat/uv transfer, glare, and damage to the interior including the dash and front seats. i can barely notice a difference at night. there is also a clear film you can use that cuts heat/uv transfer by nearly 50%. i have the clear on 3 cars.frankly i can't see why you wouldn't do it.

No issues whatsoever in a big city, wander out into the country roads in the wee hours of the night...you may change your mind. For 95% of I'm that driving time, I am sitting in traffic or its baking in the sun at the office. Inside temps dropped drastically and cools down much quicker. My windshield was the last window to get tinted, it made the biggest difference. It also is dark enough on the LC, that you cannot see through it on a cloudy day, late evening. Ultimate privacy. Enough people stare at built 100's, especially at the mall.

Jonharis your rear back window looks black.
Here in Oz almost every csr is tinted. To keep the heat and sun out of the car.

looking good woody. Keep us posted when you decide to tint the front. I may want to come check your truck out in person.
