I'm about to buy the 4x4 labs crossover steering for doing a SOA on my '85 60. My only decision to make it whether to go with GM 1 ton ends or 80 ends. Luke told me that the GM 3/4 ton ends have a better working angle. My roommate told me that from what he researched the 80 ends have a better working angle, and that is why the high steer he put on his SAS '89 pickup used 80 ends. I'd like to stay Toyota as much as possible, even though I plan on swapping a Cummins 4BT into her in the near future.
I need to decide which ends will be stronger, last longer, and have a better working angle. I haven't looked into prices, but I feel like the GM ends will be cheaper then the 80 ends. So 80 ends or GM ends?
