DixieLand Cruisers will be hosting our 4th Annual Coal Creek Winter Summit at Windrock Offroad Park over MLK weekend, January 14-17, 2022.

In case you missed the 1st, 2nd, or 3rd Annual CCWS check out these threads...

1st Annual Coal Creek Winter Summit
2nd Annual Coal Creek Winter Summit

3rd Annual Coal Creek Winter Summit

In years past we ended up renting two 9+ person cabins that were right across the street from each other. Our Nashville brethren of Music City Cruisers have joined us the last few years and rented the cabin across the street @Tennessee80 @tone33 @highrisk @ukaviator

**We have already booked/reserved both cabins that each sleep 9 people. Please post up if you are 100% in and want to reserve a bed**

For anyone who hasn’t been to Windrock before, this is not your typical Offroad Park that has nothing but crazy trails and hard obstacles. Windrock has over 72,000 acres and there are trails there for any level (beginner to extreme). Any stock land cruiser can enjoy the park and not worry about damaging their trucks. The park has something to offer for everyone. They also have a gun range, pavilions, nice showers/restrooms, etc.

We have rented the same 9 person cabin we had last year (Squatch Nest) for Fri, Sat and Sunday night.

**All cabin spots are full in Squatch Nest and Off the Beaten Path**

Squatch Nest Cabin Confirmed Spots:
There are 9 spots total. 2 queen beds and 5 twin bunk beds.

**Please post up if you want a spot**

We will have to buy permits for the park. Every person on the trails will need a Windrock permit for each day they will ride on Windrock Park's property. The Windrock Park website details this pretty well.

IIRC (it has been almost a whole year since the 3rd annual CCWS) we experienced a legendary snowfall out on the trails one day. It was awesome!

Hoping I can make it this year! Hated to miss last year. The 100 got wrecked and totalled recently 😢 (parting out - anyone need anything? hit me up!), the 40 is going through an engine rebuild (and doesnt have a top anyway), but the 80 is still ticking along and ready for this event!

This is a great event, great people, and it's super cool to see the park in winter when you can really get an idea of the terrain (in summer the foliage covers everything). Thanks for organizing @Bama4door!

Sorry to hear about the 100. Have any pics? Hit in the front or rear?

Thanks, kept my kid safe, that's all that matters. Dont want to take over this thread.. will be starting a part out thread soon. Flipped sideways and hit a telephone pole in the rear. Truck still drives straight and well though!

@tone33 would you sell it whole? If it still drives it might make a fun project.

Just curious.

I'm glad I checked this forum today. I'm definitely gonna do my best to make it to this if work doesn't get in the way. Are y'all limiting the number of trucks ? I can't remember how any came last time.

No limit on trucks, come on up man! We just have a limit on the amount of cabin spots.

No

No. @Rainman and I are parting it out. It would make a fun project indeed but funds dictate part out and we can help some other hundy owners. Need any parts?? 😀

Nah, no hundy in the stable out here

Hey, I’m new on here. Have a membership with TLCA and STLCA. Reside in Knoxville, TN. Y’all care if I join in on this event? I just ran in the Cruisers on the Rocks event at Windrock a couple weekends back. I won’t need a cabin space and already have an annual Windrock pass. Thanks y’all!

Yessir, come on!

Looks like I'm a go and will take a cabin spot in Off the Beaten Path if still available. I was also going to post this up for some other KYTLCA members who may be interested in coming down if that's ok with you guys.

Make that two for the open cabin, I've got a buddy @4runnin2 that is planning to come down as well.
