I don't expect registration today. From Jon's earlier post #170

"We will announce the registration date and time at least a week in advance on all of our social outlets giving everyone plenty of time to ensure they can be at a computer or have some one at a computer to register for them."

And from the website
"Registration date will be announced Friday, May 9th. Thanks for your patience."

^^ yep, that's what I got from the posts. Today it's gonna be announced, not open. I know, lot of people freaking out everywhere!

under 10 hops, low latency.

It's not going to really matter though. We're talking about maybe 50 people running in at once...would matter if it was 5000 or 50,000 but not 50.

Still can't wrap my head around the fact that whether or not I'm able to get free and in front of my work computer at 6pm CST on the 16th is going to determine whether or not I can attend this event.

. Sorry guys. We hope everyone that wants to come gets signed up. It seems like there is a lot of interest, but you never know how many will actually register. Good luck NTSaint, see you in Ouray!

Is there going to be a wait list? First alternate?

I'm practicing my daughter's Mavis Beacon teaches typing CDs so that I can hopefully be one of the first 35! But just wondering how things will work. Seems like there are always a few who sign up and end up not being able to go. For example, @ntsaint may sign up, then realize he'd be missing an awesome yard sale in his neighborhood that weekend and want to give up his spot to me! :)

Thanks for all the hard work guys, the site looks great. Here's hoping I can get enough connectivity in the hills of Northern Utah that evening where me and the boys will be camping to register.... *crosses fingers*

:)

Yes there will be a waitlist and as with most events, you can always expect a few cancelations. Last year, @slimbuddha showed up with some choice food, set it on the table and drove back to ABQ.

You can expect this thread, Facebook and especially the website to really start picking up steam now. There are a lot of updates coming.

I expect to be going again this year... should I bring the same thing?

Here are the final details before registration opens up TODAY:

Registration Fees:
$90 per vehicle (including driver)
$10 per each passenger 12 and older

Details of what the fees cover (and registration) can be found on the website
Camp will be well outfitted with essentials and we have reserved Porta-Poties to be onsite this year. (a large expense in that area)
If you prefer a more rugged experience, we'll even set up the Restop buckets and shelter tents. (BYO wag-bags) :flush:

Registration also includes 1 shirt. Additional shirts can be purchased during the registration process or at the event.
Shirts are $18 for adults and $15 for kids during registration. They will be $20/$15 at the event. As always, you can expect plenty of swag (gear, stickers, freebies) as well as fun stuff for the kids.

We strive to make this as low cost as possible, but as the event grows and we try to provide the best experience, some cost is incurred. The 4 Directors have worked tirelessly to ensure this event stays within the parameters of what was originally envisioned. We have sacrificed time, money, energy and hard work to bring this together and we hope you and your family have memories that last a lifetime. To us, this event is more than just 100 Series Land Cruisers. It's about connecting with others away from the computer and off the forums. It's about showing off what we think is the most beautiful area of the country in a safe, environmentally friendly way. It's a chance to learn what your 100 can do, ask questions, meet new friends, speak with vendors and enjoy the outdoors with family.

3 of us will be standing by during the registration process today. Email us at:

stan@100sinthehills.com

We're thankful for all the interest we've received and look forward to seeing all of you in Ouray!

Those persons preferring a deuce in a bucket sans wag bag need not register. :poof::moon::confused:
