he said $560 a set if we get 15 folks. Once Nick is ready we can contacvt him directly with your card, but lets wait till we get enough. I'll talk to him tomorrow

Sounds good.

As far as other miscellaneous items, what else would be good to have besides this list of new replacements from CDan:
exhaust manifold gaskets (PS and DS)
exhaust manifold to down pipe gaskets (PS and DS)
replacement studs and bolts for headers
replacement bolts/nuts for headers to down pipes (not needed, comes with kit)

DT supplies the header to cat bolts and nuts... scratch off your list.

Thanks!
No gaskets come with kit though, correct?

Correct. You'll need to get those and the downpipe gaskets from Toyota.

there are installs described in the 2nd group buy thread. Link in first post and go to near the end of the thread

The install is so convoluted in terms of tools needed and procedures that we aborted our write up :)

I have a set that I bought during the second group buy. They were intended for a future truck. Not sure that is going to happen for quite a while now. Will let them go for what I paid....PM if interested.

I have a set on my 2000 now and love them. Does make a difference.

Sold....

I just talked to Nick and based on past interest and the fact we are started on a 3rd buy, they are starting on another run of these, he did not give me a time frame

He said once we get 10, we could start calling and leave deposits

I think the sleeping bag in the background is a sign of the degree of difficulty of this install!:)

Here's a cross post for you guys, not sure if you all have seen it but when installing, make sure you do something to tie back your top AC line on the driver's side. https://forum.ih8mud.com/100-series-cruisers/514619-ac-stopped-working.html

Thanks Tim

When I was looking for a 100, the price difference between what I bought and a 2006 with the VVTI was $6K. I was looking at the 2006 because I wanted the extra 40 hp. So for less than $1K installed I will get hald of that :D Seems like a great value to me

Come on, you know you want a set:bounce:

X2.. I wan't a set but really need to wait till I have a problem with mine, which I hope is in a long time. These look great and I hope they are around in 5-6 years when I need em.

What is the ball park to have a shop install them?

I was quoted 13 hours at $100, if I could find a more reasonable way price to install, I would by a set. Don't have the time or aptitude to do my self.
