I really appreciate the input. Matter of fact I am absolutely grateful that this community exists. You guys have saved Ol' Blues life several times; last one being when the oil gallery plug blew. Thanks again!
BTW I realize this was probably not the right place for my latest inquiry-sorry.

No CEL. I got under the old gal & saw a few items of concern ( I'm attempting to attach pics as I write this). There is a ground wire from t-case to frame that was resting on muffler & almost cooked thru
Of more concern is a bundle of wires hanging above axle w/ damaged foam sleeve. Hopefully the pics will show.

Without the CEL being lite with ignition switched to "ON" the engine will not start period. No need to drain the battery trying to start it.

Based upon your previous statements about a loose battery connection the first thing would be to verify the integrity of the fusible links and logically proceed from there. Looking at wires where you are takings photos most likely is not your problem.

You need to download Jon Held's diagnostic procedure here:

That's what I'm talking bout!! Absolutely will do. I'm in a parking lot w/out much in the way of tools
Is there a way I could verify their integrity here & now?
And THANK YOU!!

Is there a torque spec for the banjo bolt? I tried looking but I didn't see anything after a quick search

I didn't see a torque for a banjo bolt on '91 FSM so I looked at '93 FSM that had banjo bolt on caliper. It lists it as 22 ft lbs. Unless you are referring to flare nuts that connect to brake soft lines - I think that may be 15 ft lbs but that is kind of hard to do with a torque wrench so I just got them "snugged" with a flare nut wrench.

Document about EFI woe & strife. Logic there lead me to discover a loose EFI fuse.
THANK YOU JON HELD

Perfect - yea, I just snugged it up as best I could so that works for me.
I will torque the banjo bolt on caliper to 22ft lbs - dont want any leaks.

I was also checking the condition of the other brake lines and they seem ok, but might replace them soon while I'm already at this. Are there 4 total soft brake lines?
I was looking at the site you linked before and it looks like there's only 4 ( but I've seen mention of 5 by others in searching? But maybe that's for the 1FZFE instead of the 3FE).

2 front left and right + 2 center ( rear and forward).

yup, just the 4

Are there any 3FE small turbo builds out there?

Why not a big turbo?? lol

i'll be building mine within the next year or so

i just want something that responds quick, low end torque, and to help at altitude.

you may want to look into a gm turbo off of the 6.5 diesel, they were fairly small and responded down low.

Just listed for sale: See the Mud Classified for details.

Just picked it up a couple of weeks ago.

Pulled off the running boards and fixed the passenger rear window and replaced the drivers window actuator. Oil Change and she runs like a top. Had to replace tires and wheels due to neglect from PO.

Nice setup.
What exactly did you have to fix with the back window?
Just wondering as I have an issue falling off the rails and wondering what others are remedy with.

Hello everyone! First time here. Planning on doing a radiator flush on my 92. Looking for a good vendor/dealership that sells Toyota red in the Los Angeles area. Any suggestions?

Thanks,
Sam

I use Asian red coolant made by Zerex, used to be able to get it from Amazon...if your doing a radiator and block flush, you should be able to use normal green coolant. For Socal, i use 60/40 mix and a bottle of water wetter..
