Are there toilets at Rubicon Springs? I know there are toilets throughout the trail on the Eldorado side.

Bets on if Woy's cover makes it cross country ?
I bet it makes it, (“no negative waves man, think positive thoughts, “quoting Oddball).

looking at the rest of the setup, 3/4 suburban, stout trailer and dual spares, I can’t see but I bet he has 3 times as many tie downs on that top cover as needed,, now if he exceeds 88mph all bets are off..

No doubt, seems like this week suddenly everything is on at work, thats why I am packing all non perishables tonight. Tent, stove, saw, ez-up, cots, table, gold panning stuff, kitchen stuff, fill water jug, skeeter sticks, bags, maybe fishin pole ?
That's how my week is as well. Since I'm leaving this weekend, it's suddenly very important for me to train people that I've been asking to be given to me for months.

Bright side, other than stuff in the fridge, the 80 and trailer, and the Sequoia are loaded, including raffle prizes!

who's drivin the sequoia ? is it a family affair or are you renting it out ?

If it goes to crap Woy, just cause you made the effort to come see us, I'll thro in for a new top if that ones s***s the bed on your trip.

Has anyone switched out their Starlink antenna for the new model, are they faster ? better at connecting ? just trying to figure what the changes/upgrades are ?

I’ve got a mini. Printed this mount in ASA-GF with 35% infill and 6 wall loops. Holding up pretty well so far.

Nice, I haven't got it fixed mounted for road time as it's impossible to use in a open top 40 going down the road almost and takes seconds to roll out. Really like the usablility of it.

Planning to park truck and trailer at the Tahoma side and then drive around to loon to start. I know fresh pond Chevron is the commonly mentioned "last stop" for fuel. I have also heard Ice House resort has fuel though. I plan on giving them a call but figured I'd pop in here to see if anyone else has stopped there. I'll be carrying extra cans to get through the trail, but really trying to squeak out every mile I can and I know being able to top off a few miles up Ice House would be beneficial.

As of yesterday.

Looking at Woytovich loading up a trailer and driving cross country to do this run makes me feel pretty lame, because I live only 24 miles from the trailhead, and am not going.

Best of luck to you all!! Have fun

They typically have fuel up there, but it won't be cheap. Giving them a call is definitely the best course of action. Otherwise I just top up at Fresh Pond and make my run. But coming from the Tahoma side, you'd be passing Ice House Road by maybe 2-3 miles to do that. The 76 Station in Kyburz is the last gas station headed down the 50. Either is a decent stop

Yeah don't roll all the way back out to Freshpond, coming down 50 out of south lake, about 1/2 mile before Ice House turn there is a station right on 50, cant miss it. There will be plenty of gas on the mtn, don't let it concern you too much, enjoy, see you soon.
