I am considering 35x10r15 swampers but I don't know if they will fit. 4 inch sky and over extended shackles. Uncut fenders, all measured I have 1 inch of clearance from front corner of rear panel. I love the tall skinny but I don't want to cut my fenders. Has anybody ran these tires? I'm new so thanks in advance. 76fj40

I believe those are bias ply as well, I could be wrong...

Yeah they are I have a 350v8 connected to a turbo 400 so do to the lack of a 4th gear I'm trying to lower my rpm just a bit. I have 33 bfg now and have ample room but it's time for new tires and I'm over the bfg mudders.

35's might fit but you will be rubbing, cutting, and bending with un cut rear fenders. I ran 33's with un cut fenders and I rubbed on the inside top of the rear fender well while flexing. You will also rub in the lower front area of the rear fenders

Yeah I figured. I have never rubbed with 33s and I've tried to. I like the 34x10.50r15 LTB but I'm nervous about on road use. Thanks for the input for helping me on quest for better tires.

I run 35x12.5x15 and the fronts fenders rub when off-roading every time. I have 4” HFS setup and their shackles except the rear I add a 5” shackle. I did cut rear fenders and no rub in rear.

Not the best pics but it's what I had on hand. I've owned this guy for 22yrs, it's been fully restored twice in its life time and needs some more cosmetic love soon.

How do I get that shirt?:)

Pardon the crappy pic. I took these off my trail 40 and bolted these on my newer build to check out fitment. Uncut 1975 FJ40, 35x10.5x15 boggers on stk wheels,, new 4" skyjacker springs, i think the rear shackles are 4 3/4" pin to pin. The tires are about 5yrs old with less than 150 miles on pavement. They physically measure 33" tall. They will rub slightly on the inside of the inner fenderwell on the rear. I opted not to run them for 2 reasons, bias plys tend to flat spot when parked for a while and price.
