Has anyone put a 350 Chev in their cruiser? I have the opportunity to buy a nearly new one for $2000 and could source a manual transmission to suit.

what is wrong with the engine in your cruiser?

Absolutely - try it out. Are we talking about an old school carburetted 350 or a newer LT generation or even an LS? What transmissions are you considering?

A Landcruiser with the reliability of an old chevy pickup truck? What could go wrong, lol.

Search for LS swap, there's been 2 I can think of.
The only ones I could find was this one:

And this one:

Here in the land of Oz, (on LCool RIP) there was a well known supercharged LS into a 105 (replacing a 1FZ-FE), which has a solid front axle.

Mark's adapters does make a kit, however it's for LS motors into 80 and 105 - not the 100 (with IFS).

Can you do this with a 2uz?

Yeah, didn’t think so.

An engine with few electronics, an iron block, and iron heads? Sounds like what a land cruiser should have, if you ask me.
