Wow! That is clear. Another nice product by Matt.

Are you going to set the bike in the back of the rig for the final picture? Since you morphed the bike into the thread?

That only seems fitting.... Or maybe something like this:

Hehe NO! Bad idea....... :D

I don't think the Yamachopper is going to ever make it into the back of the 45.

But...I can see my 1973 Honda trail 90 making it into the back of the truck. I think that would very cool.....1 piece of vintage iron hauling around another:D

Maybe an hour tonight on the lpb, nothing special.

Had to work all weekend so nothing happened on the lpb for the last few days. Had a few buddies come out after work and give me a hand setting the box back on the frame. Few little misc. things and drove it out to take a few glamour shots in the driveway while the sun was setting this evening.

Also....last pic...looked what showed up on Friday from TLC via the Panama connection! Paul...you do damm fine work

So great !
Say hello to CCOR girls !
Are you going to add the pics on your site ?

Mort aux vaches -Marc-

Hi Marc,

The CCOR girls are in Atlanta, GA and I would say hi but, I'm sure I'll never see them again ;)

The pics might get there someday, but easier and faster to just post them on mud.

Thanks, Matt

Looking outstanding Matt. :)

Seeing your nearly completed 45 makes me want one even more. (someday... :D )

So the tailgates from TLC/Paul no longer are embossed with the "TOYOTA"?

It's there, just a little hard to see in the light and primer. Tailgate looks exactly as the orginal does....you wouldn't know the difference.

Approx. 2.5 on thel lpb tonight.

Nothing really special and not a lot of pics. Pretty much bolted the box down, that took well over an hour of massaging all the bolts into place and getting those tightened up.

Then moved onto the headache rack. The SEM sauce added some material and it was about a 1/8" of an inch from fitting in there. Try pushing and wedging it in there, but it was just way to far off. My neighbor came up with an idea.....pics pretty much say it all. 2 eyebolts on each side and a turn buckle in the middle. Used some rubber washers on the outside of the eye bolts so it wouldn't bark up the paint. Had the wife come out and crank on the turn buckle while the neighbor and I held the ends. Worked perfect...got our 1/8" and it dropped right in.

Hoping to get some misc. stuff bolted on this week. Also might blast the tailgate and bezel this weekend with sodium bicarbonate. Not sure what kinda primer is on there and want to start with DP50LF right on fresh metal. Get that thing into paint and bolted on.

Looking good Matt. I see you have the stock gas '78 gas cap. Mine has the exact match to yours.

Seriously, does anyone know what the stock gas cap looks like?

What respirator do you use? I know you have a well vented booth, but how do you protect yourself from iso's? thanks

I have a pretty good 3M respirator, but as far as isocynates the only way to protect yourself is a fresh air breather system......which I don't have.

I'm not recomending it by any means, but body men have been doing it for years. Doesn't make it right though....I just try to keep the fan running which draws really good.

I wasn't sure if that was stock or not, came on the truck and the key was on the key ring??

Matt

My 45 cap has no lock and it has the "T" embossed on it just like the old moon hub caps....of course, mine's a 66 model....
