I still am planning on going on this run but i will be camping out for a week for work the week before the trip. Not sure what day i am coming back either. So depending on that and how tired i am at the end of the week will be my deciding factor.

Crossing my fingers right now. I dropped off my speedometer to get the needle replaced and rebuilt. I am hoping that it will be done some time next week so that I can have it installed before Friday so I can run with saturday

Badass sticker Murf, who has a Sky Blue 40? Nice way to honor our old, trust and in some cases rusty rigs!!!

I have my state trust land permit. Ive never been asked for it on the trail by any authorities in my life but from what Ive read, you should have one.

Have we worked out a meeting time yet? i have to plan about 2-3 hours travel time to get there

cant wait

Anyone else from Tucson planning to make this run? If so we should all roll out together!

@mtn biker

Sweet! I'll post a thread to help organize this a little bit more.

I will be heading out from Tucson as well. We could meet up at Oracle/Ina or further North in Catalina. I was thinking of leaving Kolb/Sunrise area around 6 or 6:30.
I am all for a slow 40's caravan/parade

I have a buddy wanting to join me and my son. But he needs to be back in Tucson by 5. How long does the trail take?

Hard to say but if the group is large and stopping for lunch maybe 4-5 hours?
Just of note: Country Thunder is the same weekend. Could be quite busy. Still looking forward to the run!
Thx for pointing that out Loren. Damn, The very road we were going in on will be bumper to bumper so I'm going to look at alternatives in the same area and post up by Tuesday pm.
No matter what, it will only be 78 for a high and with rain the day before, low dust! Only cloudy on Saturday.

Thanks for the tip. I guess i wont be cutting through Coolidge

:crybaby::censor:I am getting excited and this week is going by so slow. I have to keep reminding myself that it is only TUESDAY.:cautious::censor:

**UPDATE** UPDATE *** Location change! due to Country Thunder clogging up the previously planned trail choice.
We will now be meeting at the Los Hermanos restaurant in Superior at 8:30 am and pulling out no later than 9:00am. please plan enough time to eat and gas up to be ready to roll at 9:00am. TUCSON Crew: Also allow time to get through Florence with the Country Thunder traffic...

Here is the address > 835 W US-60, Superior, AZ 85173

We are working on a couple great alternative choices. The new run will be announced Saturday morning. The trail will not be difficult. We are looking for a scenic and relatively easy trail to enjoy in the area.
See you all Saturday! weather will be around 78* for the high with some scattered clouds - perfect!
