Just thinking stock 1uz and maybe header and exhaust. Also lokking for best and cheapest trans adapters. thanks hava great swap.

lol @ no torque, just so you know, my Supra made over 1200nm torque at teh rear wheels, still standard motor just a GT35r on it. I dont know how that equates to real road figures, but thats what it showed on the Dyno

In saying that, Turbo the big 1FZ, look at the crazy arabs in the UAE doing Sand Hillclimbs

1000hp 100 series with 1FZFE

Old thread bump. Anyone out there tried this? Would love to see how this would look with super low gearing. Would make sick sounds during 4wd burnouts.

Just drive it at 9000 rpm in low range any you will be fine.

I am guessing this didn't pan out. I loved how post #1 was asking about a 2jz swap, then post 4 says he may do a 4bt swap.

Had this argument with my buddies on a recent ski trip. 1fz-fe is undoubtedly the better engine for a truck, and the truck already comes with one! People get stoked on their 700hp supra on stock internals, but the 1fz would have more grunt throughout the rev range and is capable of a similar peak HP (if not quite equal) at 2k lower RPM.

Saw guy do one in his 4Runner was late 80s first gen runner, was pretty sweet.
