Hi everyone,

I'm trying to learn more about my Toyota FJ40, specifically where and when it was made. The vehicle has a 2F engine and originally comes from Switzerland. The block number of the engine is 2F521202.

I've been doing some research but haven't been able to find concrete information on the manufacturing location or the exact year it was made. If anyone has knowledge about how to decode these numbers or any insights into the production history of FJ40s with 2F engines, I would really appreciate your help!

Look on the passenger side frame near where it meets the front bumper and see if your vin# is there like in the photo attached

the frame is bad on this rig, I have a replacement frame # 292261 supposedly a 78

I'll attempt to put a few pictures up. I'll wait until I fix a couple of things the PO did first. I am not complaining. He was a dedicated off loader who did most off road mods that made sense and I would have done if he hadnt.
