Pistons are in and at TDC sit 15"thou above the hight of the block.

what is the compressed thickness of the stock HG?

Any pics of the eye browing? Also any idea what your SCR will be?

Head gasket compressed is about 60" thou but it's not stock, Its a high quality Graphite head gasket.

Eyebrowing pix are back 1 page on 12:D

Matt,
out of curiousity were you shooting for .045 piston to head clearance? Any reason for that spec. I would have expected .035 for better squish characteristics. We have measured rod stretch to be around .004 per 1k or revs.

Eye browing turned out quite nice. How deep do the eyebrows go? And how tall is the top ringland on the JE pistons?

Looks great. Cradle looks nice too :)

Top ring of the JE's comes up to just short of the larger eyebrow, not sure of the exact depth.

The head gasket is just under 60" so the squish maybe nearer your expectations. I'll check for an exact figure next time.

Beautiful work right there!

It's looking good Matt, can't wait to see the finished product.

Top work :D

Nearly their:bounce::clap::bounce:

Squish is 38" Thou, 30" Thou would be the very minimum but this leaves room to skim the head/block in the future.

Yes the pump has been machined/improved and the pressure relief increased as well as some improvements to the oil paths.

I think you did something similar with your build.

Will have to look at what oil will suit best, cost is not an issue, also I think as long as the pump is in tip top condition all should be good, more problems lie here form lack of regular oil changes and maintenance and as you know the earlier 1F was more of an issue.
