Now wait, Onur said I had the nicest 62 ever, sold it to Greg Miller for the Museum. I cuss my wife every morning I wake up for that one!
Funny story as I paid I think $7000 for it. Didn't know Onur but heard some guy around Albuquerque could do a prebuy. Once Onur saw it, I don't think Ive heard the f word dropped so many times in such a positive way in a single conversation in my life. Sadly I called Onur when I moved so he could sell it hence Greg Miller. If something positive came of it, it was getting to meet and become good friends with such a good turkish guy!!

Darn nice cruiser indeed!!! Amazing how these are increasing in value.

My guess is closer to 50k.

It's already at $26,5 with six days to go.

Which makes me feel pretty good about the super-extra-clean, fully-documented since new, mid mileage 62 that should be arriving here tomorrow. :bounce:

A sub-100K mile fully gone-over 62 was being offered by TLC4X4 last month for $54K. It sold in about a week.

The really good ones will fetch the money.

Current bid $45k

The consignment dealer was asking $65K prior to listing it on BaT.

TBH, the interior on that rig isn't very clean. They should have done some prep work to make it really pristine. And also found replacement rear headrests.

I think the questions in the BaT comments about the original suspension are on point, as well.

As with many segments of the collectible car market, there appears to be a growing disconnect between buyers and sellers.

The rig was bid up to $55,0 and did not meet reserve. The consigner has been listing it for $65K all across the internet. With no takers, obviously.

BaT adds a 3% buyers premium, so the top bid was nearly $58K. I was very interested, but wasn't willing to push the high bid any higher.

Strange days, indeed.
