Hope you can join us! It's a fun day out with other old rigs.
Last time I had the Fudge that far from home, a pulley blew up on me down by Pipestone. Still fun, but that was a long day!

Yikes! I lost a motor mount and transmission mount on the same day up a trail in Moab. That was fun. @elkun1 has some great stories too.

I do carry some spare parts, but you never know what's gonna go out, and you can't carry everything.

And if you do carry everything, more junks gonna break with all the weight.

looks like i'm going to have to bring the 40 instead of sams 55. decided it made more sense for him to drive his 55 back to casper so he only has to get his pu back there. his trailer hauler lost the transmission, friggin 10 speed gm transmission. what's everyone planning on doing? camping or 1 long day

I'm making a long day out of it, then again, I'm closer than the Bozeman crew.

Anyone looking for a good campground close by, flint creek campground at the base of Georgetown lake is only 8 mins from the gas station. Nice spots on creek with a clean bathroom. Usually pretty empty for most don’t know about it. If anyone likes I have some land up at Georgetown Lake they are welcome to stay on as well.

C-clip axle?
yea, but the axle broke at the splines, c clip was fine. Sam had a buddy in casper trying to find an axle but couldn't find one so it was trailered home. had about 15 miles of trail with a bunch of winching to get him to the trailhead. around 50 miles outside of greybull towards sheridan on 14. got it back here around 6 the next morning. thankfully i had a grease gun in my camp trailer with an almost full tube of grease left over from my driveshaft fiasco last year. Goose lake was very buggy and sawtooth was worse so have bug spray.

the third night was spent at adelaide (sp) lake just past shell lake in the bighorns. great campsite and no bugs. the trail really begins just past it and is a loop trail. it's a dandy with go arounds that are challenging. recommended trip if you get to the bighorns. was just reminded last night that we have 50 lbs of cabbage that is going in the crocks this weekend. guess my 2 nights of camping will be cut to maybe 1 hopefully or else a long day on Saturday
