Had the same thought on the volume knob, much less of a cohesive design than the GX
Seems that the round headlight model might be called the "1958" trim?
Is that the 2.4 4 cylinder in the picture above?

No, it still has the I-Force Max badge, so seems that engine options will be available for both body styles.
Looks like the FJ's Heritage Blue color. Paired with the white roof, I'm 100000% on board with the look.
The truck looks fine, it has plenty of other problems (if theses leaks are to be believed but I am not sure I do believe).

I think this is a vast improvement over the FJ Cruiser and the Prado sold in some world markets. I really like it.
Looks great, very 62-esque. An ARB on the one with round headlights might just pull off the FJ60 look.

Has anyone figured out what is the difference between the round headlight and the other one imply? And where is the Hybrid Max badge someone mentioned? I don't see it in the pictures other than a picture of the dash that showed the max tag
Back right bottom of tailgate I guess in a picture above. Post 2662 Would say "IForceMax" iirc.
I wonder if we’ll be surprised with a trail hunter or overtrail type trim in an hour. ATs are curiously absent in these pre shots.
Completely agree. Stock 80, 100 and 200 are fairly bland when compared to built trucks. A lift and tires will do a lot for this, just like the new sequoia.
The power plants and lack of tailgate are the downers for me.
