Can anyone confirm if the below 2015 LC wheels would work fine with a 2013 LX 570? My understanding from Mud threads is that they should be a good match without a spacer required. Then pair with a 285/65R18 for an easy fit? Maybe even 295/65R18?

He is offering $350 which is a bit steep given no one wants these... but perhaps he will come down a bit more.

Thanks!

They’ll bolt right on and yes 285/65r18 will fit. I can’t speak to 295/65.

As for the price.. if they’re in really good shape I wouldn’t have a problem with 70 each.

Geez one more thing… are the valve stem openings different sizes or something?
I have new LX sensors, I can’t use those? Or are you saying I can’t use the original LC sensors?

As discussed in this thread?

If I just need to get new ones due to the angle and Discount Tire can supply them, that's fine as I was going to get new ones anyway.
There are some year model incompatibilities.. was just saying you couldn't use the LC TPMS on those wheels for your vehicle, but that has more to do with the year difference than LC/LX.

I'd strongly consider sourcing your own TPMS, Pacific Industry builds the factory ones for Toyota, if you order the correct year Denso sensor it'll be reboxed Pacific. The ones discount will install are generic sensors ok at their job in many vehicles, but not great in any. The factory toyota parts or Pacific sensors will routinely go 10 years.. there's no way the chinese stuff from a tire shop will do that.

Ok good to know, thanks. You had me worried for a second (I can't use TPMS?! haha).

I already ordered these 2013 LX Denso TMPSs from Amazon, because I read about that concern in a previous thread. So those will work fine?

FYI - Discount Tires asked me why I ordered my own (this was last week when I talked to them) and they told me "we use OEM sensors, they'll be the same". Interesting if they are not using Denso. They seemed to genuinely want to help / make it easy on me and not just want to sell sensors...

Thanks a lot!

Ask them to show you the Toyota part number then. Or that they look exactly like the ones they’ll be taking off those LC wheels. They won’t. Or the programming technique.. Toyota sensors cannot be cloned, they have their own IDs that must be programmed into the car.

And if that seems aggressive.. seeming to want to help is a good sales tactic.. but they are lying to you on those sensors… possibly from ignorance.. but IMO it’s s***ty business to make statements about things they don’t know.

That said, do some searching on here for ways to tell fake sensors from real. At least one person did get some fakes from Amazon. But the ones I bought from them a number of years ago were real. Rockauto is a more trustworthy source for the record. Also yes the 550-0103 is the correct number for your 2013. 2014 is when things begin to change.

I didn't have any issue, they accepted mine without problem.
