Thanks for all the info guys, this site is awesome. Trying to decide on tires between 285/60/18 or 275/65/18 . The 275 is a little narrower as per the specs of that size, Look to be about a little less than 1 " taller. I use the truck mostly for highway and heavy snow when I go to upstate New York for snowmobiling. Currently have Michelin ltx in 20" size and have been pretty happy. Leaning towards the Michelin Ltx A/t 2 or Yokohama Geolander A/T. Anybody have any recommendations?

I think the 285/60/18s look best. I love the wide tires on the LC.

I’m running 285/65/18 with no rubbing. Just another option

Isn't narrower typically a little better for getting through snow down to the road surface? I'm ignorant on this, other than seeing skinny ice tires on rally cars.

But yes, wider does look better IMO.

The Michelin AT2 in 275/65/18 in P (not LT) is the same as what comes on the Tundra TRD Pro- and is very lightweight compared to comparable LT tires.

I have a set, not on a 200- but the weight difference is very noticeable compared to same size LT Toyo AT2. They both give a very different ride characteristic.

Hell, actually, that is what I am running too. I am losing my mind.

Anyone have any pictures of 275/65/18 on an lx 570 or landcruiser? I don't want them to look too much narrower than my stock size. I am looking at the Michelin Ltx A/T

I must have deleted the wheel well pictures, which would be more helpful, but from the front there is no difference in how they stick out. Literally no difference in driving characteristics or looks, IMO. Speedo will be more accurate though.

Which tire are you using? Brand and model? and confirming size 275/65/18 ? thanks Funny about the speedo because I noticed mine reads a little high for the actual speed so a slightly larger tire will make it more accurate (I think I got that right)

Cooper AT3s (not the LT version) and yes 275/65 on the stock rim. Both pics are stock suspension. Only difference is the Rhino bumper which eliminated the very very slight rub on the Passenger side at full lock in reverse.

So, I am getting 2016 Landcruiser 18" wheels, looks like offset is listed as 56 mm. My current 20 inch wheels are listed as 51 mm offset. Does this mean the 18 inch wheels are going to sit further in towards the center of the car instead of more towards the fender lip? As it is now my wheels/ tires don't line up with fender edges (currently have 285/50/20 michelin ltx m/s. ) The 275/65/18 Michelin Ltx A/t 2 I am looking at are listed as being narrower than 285/60/18. Just trying to get the best look on the truck between the 285-60-18 or the 275/65/18

You are correct. The wheels will be 5mm closer to the center.

Is that going to be really noticeable?

I think you'll want a 1.25" Spidertrax spacer with the LC wheels....

I found the part number. Do people run these on all 4 wheels or just fronts

5mm is .02 inches, that’s less than a 1/4” You will also be going with a more aggressive tread so visually it will look bigger anyway. I would not run spacers just to get the width back

There's quite a few of us on here running the Spidertrax 1.25 spacers. Some longer than others, and haven't seen anything about increased wear. Also some are wheeling hard with the spacers, so it's not just grocery getters running the spacers.

It's up to you though. As @pkniland mentioned you are going for a more aggressive tire and the difference is so small between the wheels that you don't need the spacers. Want is a different story though, you could also throw them on later if you decide you want them.
