Looking at purchasing 2018 landcruiser wheels 18" with 285/60/18 tires. Will these work on my 2010 lx570? Are there center caps available with lexus logo? Are these wheels the same offset as my factory 20"? Will the ride improve? Thanks guys

Yes they will work. Yes you can get the LX center caps from the LX 20" rims and they are the same size.

So I can transfer my center caps from my 20" factory wheels on my 2010?

Anyone know if the center cap from my 2010 Lx570 20" wheel will transfer to 2016-2018 Landcruiser 18" factory wheels?

Yes, the rims will fit. No idea about center cap availability.

Not understanding how the center cap will swap. They are completely different.

Ok got it thanks for clearing that up for me

Are you sure they'll fit without modification?

When installing 16+ wheels on an 08-15 cruiser the metal cap over the hub nut must be changed, due to the one on 16+ front hubs being more shallow. I'm not sure if this is just a center cap issue or the ID/depth of the bore in the wheel itself.

I would imagine the issue is similar for lexus models of the same years.

I am not certain, and would trust you (@bloc) on this. I jumped to that conclusion.

I have '17 tundra rims on my '13 land cruiser, so I assumed a great deal of cross compatibility. I've seen the same Tundra and Tundra trd rims on 100 series, and 200 series LC and LX.

I'm just pretty sure I remember people mentioning something interfered. One person's solution was to leave the hub nut cover off, but to me that would invite rust/dirt. I'd assume you could just get a 16+ cover.. I don't think the hub itself has changed.

I just had this done and the center cap does interfere. It pushed the front center caps out about 5mm. I had to trim the back of the caps to fit. The tire shop did not say there was any issue with fitment when installing other that the center caps. This is the part number for the Lexus center caps for 2016 cruiser wheels. 4260B-60390

Yeah - don't mess with the hub cover when you can just sand a few millimeters off the back of a plastic center cap to solve the problem (fronts only).

Is it just the hub cap on the wheel that won’t fit or the wheel itself that hits the metal cover on the hub face?

It is just the plastic center cap that sits slightly proud on the front wheels. Unless the LX is drastically different than the LC. But the LX photo above seems to indicate it's just the front plastic center caps that need slight modification (sanding plastic that does not change the clip section). Its common that the tire shop doesn't want to mess with the possibility of damaging / modifying the center caps, but its not hard to remove a bit of unnecessary plastic yourself and pop it in.

yep. I Took a flapper disk to my trd centercaps to clear the front hubs. Only took about 1/8" to make it work.

(This was before I got spacers)

Good to know. The person in the past that removed the metal hub nut cover had me thinking it interfered with the wheel itself.

This is the best picture I could find.

and here's what needed to be trimmed to make them fit:

Here is what it looks like with the cruiser caps. There is a wire pressure band on the back and I trimmed just to that. The wheel does touch the dust cover but it’s also matted flush to the rotor. I typically worry about everything and this is one I am not worried about
