How do you cut square holes?
With a knockout punch. Drill a pilot hole, insert punch and tighten until it shears the metal. How do you cut square holes?
Nice - nit a fan of the grey toyota uses on factory flares?Flares + hood will be painted to match body color. The mud flaps and factory steps will remain black.

Toyota do sell the factory fenders with these holes punched out, I was surprised at how cheap it was when I ordered up mine.
Next question, and sound deadening plans for this rig? A 79 is one cab it makes a big difference to.
I do like the grey. Just seen a few of the sandy taupe with color matched flares and really like that look.Nice - nit a fan of the grey toyota uses on factory flares?

I hope @SNLC can share some details on that as it comes together. I am planning to build a custom front axle with 9.5" center diff and 80 series outers with the 105 hubs in order to match lug pattern on the 10" tundra rear axle going under my crawler. As I understand it the, 5 lug hubs will work with the 80 series snout. Are there special birfields required? What are you using for rotors and calipers, all 105 stuff? I know the drive flange utilizes larger diameter studs than the 80 series does. Are selectable hubs available for the 105 hub assemblies?Well they are 80 series axle housings but will be running the 105 series hub assemblies.
We are just making this up as we go. As said above, I have a complete set of front and rear axle assemblies for the 105 series (wheel to wheel). We are making use of it for this project since it’s the parts are already there and I don’t have any present plans for the 105 build. I’m sure @SNLC will document how this evolves.I hope @SNLC can share some details on that as it comes together. I love this truck in every way, I wish they were more attainable here in the states. Thanks for sharing the build.
