Trans and t-case breather terminate on the dipstick tube. There's a little bracket holding them.
Steering shaft seal takes about 10 minutes. Unbolt the steering coupler and its clamp bolt, tilt the coupler down, pull it off the splines. Unbolt the seal and slide it off. Search the 80 series forum for hot drivers feet if you want more detail.
Did the front axle rebuild Saturday at @kc_chevota 's house. HUGE thanks for letting me hang out from 9:30 am to 11:30 pm to get it all done. And huge thanks to @Robkc for washing parts all day, and for running to the discount warehouse for hard to find parts (aka @2fpower 's house) for the spindle and long side axle.

Installed the ham this evening. I was initially going to mount the main unit under the seat, with the remote face somewhere on the dash. But I didn't like the idea that should something go wrong and I get a bunch of water in the cab, I might splash out the radio. So started looking for better mounting locations higher up, behind the dash.
Found someone on mud that had mounted theirs behind the space where the speaker is in the dash on the passenger side.
That 5th speaker had been long removed, so I checked it out. It fit freaking perfectly. Now I think you guys with 95-97 have the computer in that space, but our 93-94 models have nothing but blank space with that speaker removed. The radio with mounting bracket fit like it was meant to be there. 2 sheet metal screws and the bracket is secured with radio firmly mounted!

The radio mounted in the speaker space. Added bonus, the internal speaker ends up facing out, almost perfectly behind the speaker screen.
Mounted the face, screwed to a bracket I made, with velcro to the center console for now.
Took a break from storage system build to run up to Iowa for shooting and wheeling with some Tacoma and 4Runner guys.
Encountered a downed tree just 60 yards up the creek. So grabbed the chain saw out of the back and cut it free after climbing across my hood. Then strapped it up and dragged it back to creek entry point to cut it up.
About 5 yards further up the creek I sunk in the silty muck upstream of where the tree was. One of the 4Runners with a winch that was following just barely pulled me out but not before I sliced a valve stem on something.
Between the acrobatics of the recovery trying not to get too wet, a tire change and then winching the 4Runner out when he decided to back out through a shallower line we spent 3 hours traveling only 160 yards.
I hope that this is not a foreshadowing of what we can expect on HWM trail.

Didn't take many pictures of 2nd row parts as I was distracted today by news of my Dad having heart attack. Fortunately he recognized symptoms and headed to hospital right away. 2 Stents, an overnight stay and he should be on his way home.
