I love both for their purposes. 2016 LC for me, 2016 LX for :princess:.

I'll join and bring the torches and pitchforks :p

Kidding, i know it's not to many people's taste but it does have it's segment. What we need is an "aliens vs predators" event, the LX vs the QX :hillbilly:

Not even a fair comparison. The QX looks like it has Downs...the LX is a cylon that got hit with the ugly stick.

I'm not sure that conveys the rugged underpinnings of the new LX -- more like the missus forgot to put it in park and it got away from her when she went into the spa...

No doubt that the LX will do what it's supposed to do, just that pic on the rocks seems to be such a poser shot that it's embarrassing -- I'd rather see that white LX balls deep in the mud with a lady wearing a diamond tiara behind the wheel...

And messing with Bigfoot while drinking a dirty martini

By current vehicles in the market the LX with it's edgy/sharp lines will sell in heaps in the gcc, i think the low sales of the QX here are due to its round bloated figure. in the UAE i know Toyota/Lexus make a lot of noise whereas Nissan and Infiniti aren't so good in marketing the selling point of the patrol here is mainly, cheaper than an LC, just as big and will offer more options on that price point. A friend had a talk with the brand manager at Infiniti and they said they're revamping it for the UAE and want to completely seperate from Nissan they'll have their own dedicated showroom, service center and staff to improve customer satisfaction and experience with them.

At this point, I am ready to fully commit.
I like the new LX!
There, I said it. Who's coming with me?

I LOVE the new LX!

Tons of land cruisers in uae as expected

I am in medinah now and it's full of suburbans , Tahoe, yukons

I have seen Ford Flex, tons of crown Vic's, Ford Taurus and some Toyota Sequoia

Barely any lc/lx :(

Qatar is the place to be !

I love there are no roof racks on the cars in Qatar :)

Also I forgot about the Benz like Toyota hood ornament!

See qatari diplomat with leferrari abuse in Beverly Hills?

All the Saudi police are using the 2 door 70 series. There is 11 around our hotel. They idle them 24 hours s day!

I took pics of my lc spotting but can't upload from iPhone

Once I get back to the states will do

The 100 series here have more body graphics than 200 so far

Any idea on dates when the LX will hit the states? My wife is interested in a 2013-2015 LX and I am wondering if the current model will take a hit with a dramatically new 2016 coming out.

Time constraint is her BMW X5 runs out of extended warranty / service plan late October and I would like to sell the car before it runs out...just thinking I might kick might kick myself if I buy a 2015 lx for $xx then a month later the 2016s are out and the 2015s drop $10k etc.

when the tree-huggers talk about big, bloated SUVs, they're pointing directly at these -- :(

Nobody should care what tree-huggers talk about.

love that pic Hey I thing it toyota testing what they need to do to get the best of the 80 into the new 300 lol

all jokes aside this is why I think Lexus is going crazy!!! You have 3 generations of Land Cruiser there so not exact on the span of years but they all still look relevant!!! Don't go all crazy with style ETC. Yes UPDATE but keep what works Mr Toyota

100 series especially with the led taillights still looks modern today. I had a friend who doesn't know much about cars think my 100 was at least an 09. I feel the 80 design aged quicker than the 100.

The Land Cruiser 'Guy' in North America was talking about the new 200 series 'Cruiser at CruiserFest this last weekend.
He was saying that they are keeping the 18" wheels in the US as they are trying to keep the 'Cruiser close to its roots as an offroad vehicle.

I really wanted to ask him where the model with a turbo-diesel, manual transmission, solid front axle, locking diffs, no sat nav, and cloth seating was.

And you'd probably run the stock 17" steelies to stick to it's offroad roots

Did he have any insight as to when the 300 series would be making an appearance. I'm still hoping for MY 2018....
