300 LC is coming in 2 years or so. LX will soldier on for 3/4 more years. They easily could have done more to the LC but you know they are saving the special stuff for the full redesign.

That would surprise me if the LX was to stay in production on the 200 platform while the LC went on to an all new 300 platform. I would think that would have to cause some major production issues building 2 different platforms on the same line. How would they manage that?

I haven't seen any references to the new 8-speed with respect to the LC in the latest salvo of release notes from Japan... did I just miss that?

It seems that the 8 speed is going behind the 5.7 liter engine. In Japan they get the 4.6, and that's sticking with the 6 speed. Australian sites are reporting that the 4.6 is keeping the 6 speed.

Yep I like the 2016 model

I really hope those interior door handles just look the same! That was one of my biggest "dis-likes" of the interior

...I would love to see a supplier for Toyota with the sophistication of AEV Conversions for Jeep and Ram. The front and rear bumpers on their Wranglers and Rams are consistent with the lines of the vehicles. Their engineering and manufacturing are just as professional as the OEMs, and as such they have been enormously successful. Toyota just needs to open up to working with a similar supplier the way FCA works with AEV.

Fwiw AEV's parent company (Quality Metal Stamping) is an OE supplier and in fact builds sheet metal for Jeep (think JK8, Call of Duty, etc) and many other manufactures. I was able to tour QMC and their AEV Michigan facility a few years back, amazing infrastructure and capability. I'd love to see them do some Toyota applications beyond just wheels.

The front end of the '16 LC seems to look better when viewed through a wide angle lens. Not that I want to ditch my '14, but I'll reserve judgment on it until I see one in person. (I'm not convinced any lens can improve the '16 LX though -- seems like a face only a mother could love.)

Not so keen on that long-faced centre dash... like the steering
neither liking the two humps on the bonnet... like what they did to the rear

Nice rear end. Interior appointments appear improved. Appreciate the brown leather. Has anyone seen exterior color options? Interested to know if the brown/bronze will make it to The States. Is Amazon Green done here?

I like it, but I think I'm still going to go for a 2015.

Yeah I like it too. 2011 will be up for sale in the Fall or should have a strong trade in value.

Hopefully u all will trade in your '13s. If I upgrade I am getting ventilated seats.

Looks pretty good. Need to see in person.
