2014 LC or 2015 LC? Hood visibility question...

hey all,
Can anyone comment on the following note related to a difference between '14 and '15 model years: is this accurate?
My wife has a friend that had a 2015 LC and traded it in for a 2014 LC because she said the '15 hood was too large to see over and that the '14 hood was smaller and she had better visibility?
Is this a thing? I can't find anything real definitive on this detail in my searches so far.

2013,2014 & 2015 are the same everything. she might have moved the seat up on the '14 and thought there was a difference.

The hood changed in 16 and definitely changed the visibility, so maybe they had a 16+? No difference on the hood from 13-15 and I actually don’t think there’s a difference from 08-15.

I bet that explains it. This other family has several cruisers, so exact model year could have been lost in translation as retold by my wife...anyways...thanks all for the info. The good news is I am shopping for a 200 series LC for my better half and I am better informed now.

Also, any sort of lift can change the rake which would make a difference.
