Did you get a new cruiser that I don't know about?? We even went in and looked around the gift shop but didn't see ya, could of been the overwhelming amount of blue hairs there that were just standing in the way. But it certainly was a great day to ride the parkway, leaves were just right.
Matts gfriend has several as well to post. Including a baby black snake we found in the back of my cruiser. It was in the firewood.
My pics from Friday. It got cold Friday night but in the cruiser it was toasty. That heater saved me again.
Kane had a coffee waiting for me on the trail. Awesome. Seeing the first snow of the year was cool. The sunset Friday night was great. Blue my golden had a blast. He like the sleeping arrangements. The only hick up was not being able to camp with the kids sat night and seeing everyone at the inn for lunch. Beccas car blew a transmission coming up sat so I had to rescue her.

I didn't make it all the way out to the clearing on the other side of the bald. The boy was tired of the rocks and this was a good spot to let him run. We hiked around a little before Marshall showed up.
The 4yo wouldn't have made it through the night and I wasn't driving out after dark.
I do want to go back. The views and seclusion are phenominal.

I think we must have just missed each other Chuck, as I believe you would have noticed a lifted 40th Anniversary with an ARB. We just sat in the parking lot until Gabe showed up, but we had sirius on, and were listening to some pre CFB talk... Next time...
My toes are still numb/burning from Friday night. Guess i may need to go to the doctor...

Yes, after further research i figure it is mild and will take care of itself. Biggest mistake i made was rubbing them throughout the night. Ice crystals form in your tissue and when you rub the affected area is further damages the tissue. Kinda feels like a burn. Should take care of itself after a couple weeks.
Damn Gabe you should have come asked me for help. I'd been more than happy to throw another sleeping bag your way.
Its ok they are getting better each day. I will get a new bag for Christmas.

just make sure to get a goose down mummy bag rated for atleast zero, and you should be good for anything you will encounter in our area
