Hey Mud,

I've done some digging on here about LX only blowing cold air on the "Max AC" setting, as thats what mine currently does. I found the little white sensor hose under my steering wheel and it was indeed disconnected. Reconnected it and still have the same issues.

It's not the worst inconvenience, until now...my AC is starting to blow warmer air when i'm idling for a few min and usually starts cooling when I start to drive again, though sometimes will still blow warm. I'm assuming I may just need freon topped off? I have also noticed water spots when i leave my parking spot lately near the passenger side front axel. Is this normal or think its related?

Any help much appreciated before I take it to get looked at

Another note...previous owner had a Tesla style screen before returning it to stock for the sale. Any chance a harness got incorrectly clipped and is causing the "max ac" issue?

thank you!

Your 2007 shares the same design as my 2006, they didn’t have the front-mounted auxiliary fan for the condenser from the factory. When you idle, especially this time of the year, the condenser does not get enough ventilation to lower the pressure in the AC line so it goes in to high pressure and eventually will stop blowing cold air. The simple solution is to install an auxiliary fan.

Thanks for the reply. If this were the case, why would cold air not blow every time I started driving? When the AC starts to get cool again, it typically happens when driving but not always. I'll even have it be cool driving and suddenly go warm again.

If AC blows cold on max cold (~45F). AC charge okay.

The white hose connect to a sensor. Cleaning or replace sensor is sometimes needed.

Also make sure radiators fins clean

You'll need manifold to test AC pressure. But the manul does have some check, that yield clues.
