In regards to the alignment, some folks prefer more caster. If you are happy with the way it drives that’s all that matters since you are in the “green”. When I was stock my numbers were in the mid 2 degrees And it drove fine. No complaints. After I Added a lift, bigger tires and also UCAs my caster is over 3 degrees and it drives better then stock which I attest to the UCAs providing the additional caster. Steering feels tighter/solid with the higher caster numbers.

The Maxx seem like one of the best compromises instead of a true Mud terrain. How is the road noise with them vs the K02s which I think you had previously?
Would you do spacers? I really don't want to. but reading the links you sent seems like people have good luck with bora ones. something small like .75 ?

I am hesitant to run spacers but that's my personal preference. I prefer to avoid things like spacers and adjustable UCAs as it adds additional variables when trouble shooting issues with the truck. I try and keep thing simple, less to go wrong the better.
Many folks run them with no issues. I got a buddy who has put over 100,000 miles on his truck with Spacers with no trouble.

Ideally one would run a more aggressive wheel offset to accomplish what the spacer would do but that's not always a viable or cost effective option.

My Evos are the 18x8.5 with 45mm offset. In hindsight I should have special ordered them with a custom offset of around 30-35mm but I was inpatient and didn't want to wait months for them.

Just for more poke? I would think your geometry should be better for up to 34" with 45mm offset. Scrub would be better. Fitments except ultrawide tires that get into the KDSS or UCA better. There's a solid reason those wheels are made in 45mm.

To eliminate the rub, pet peeve of mine, feels amateurish to rub if that makes sense. I’ll try tweaking the alignment to see if I can gain a fraction more clearance. The Lt275/70R18 kenda klever RTs run large which is probably the contributing factor.

Also need to play around with the tough dog suspension adjustments, maybe upping the firmness will reduce body roll and possibly the rub. I think I am set at 3 or 4 out of 9 on all four shocks.

285/75/18 Toyo Mts. I run a KDSS relocation bracket and have the slightest rub on the KDSS bar at full lock and flexing. Nothing that concerns me. I'm running Wheeler’s superbumps and I feel like they act as a extended bumpstop to a degree. I will find out if they need extending more at GSMTR in a few weeks

How long have you run the kdss relocation kit?

Have you had any negatives? People say bent bars and what not. Any input on your end?
My end links need replacing now but they have 115k miles on them. I figure even if I have to replace them every 1-2 years it’s not that bad for the additional ground clearance that I gain by being able to run a 35.
And as far as bending the anti sway bar I don’t think that’s happened. But even if it did I don’t think that would be catastrophic. With these big heavy trucks I bend things all the time. I just fix it, replace it, or deal with it. It’s all part of it:)

What else have you bent?

What else have you bent?
Panhard bar, trailing arms, steering knuckle, cracked wheel, crushed fuel tank skid, front bumper skid, and alignment cam tabs.
I’m finally installing Budbuilt stage 3 skids today so that should help a lot.

I want to give a shout-out to @DirtNap. He has updated my database and made it more user friedly. For now, try using this link he has provided: 200 Series Tire Size Database - update

Here is a link to the database: Click Me

UPDATE #1: A disgruntled member keeps deleting portions of the database, so I had to remove the editing abilities for everyone. :meh:
For now, just submit your info via a reply to this thread or I.M. me, and I will update it myself.

Update #2: To anyone else who wants their info in the database: I am getting tired of people messaging me their tires, but do no seem to give me anymore info. Look at the database, and make sure you give me EVERYTHING that is listed. I am tired of trying to track down the rest of the info! From now on, if you fail to give the full description, I will ignore your post. No hard feelings, but... Also, if you have the exact same setup as another member that has already been posted, it is a little redundant to have it in the database. i.e. We all know that a 275/70 will fit just fine. I get that the more entries the better, but if the setup is clearly tried and true, its not going to do much good having it in the database. The only reason it would be useful, would be if you actually have rubbing on a setup where another member said he or she had no rubbing. If that is the case, then please me note of it when contacting me, or replying to this thread.

Original Post: I have seen many many threads titled "How big can I go?" and "What tire Size?" "Will it fit?" etc. Instead of trying to sort through everything, I decided to make a google doc to keep track of everything.

I think this will really help those who are trying to pick a tire and wheel for their 200. I included boxes for tire size, wheel size, manufacturer, mods, and general notes about your particular truck.

Maybe this is a stupid idea. Who knows; lets see if it catches on.

I will go ahead and enter info into the spreadsheet as I see it in various discussions. If you see your name on the list already, please do not be offended, and please feel free to update it as you deem necessary--especially if you see a "n/a".

I would also like to add, that if you do have rubbing, please note where the rubbing occurs (in the notes section), as we can make the spreadsheet more specific as we get more info.

Can I get access. Thx

Do you need an alignment if you do the kdss spacer?
I wouldn't see why you would need to. Steering geometry shouldn't be affected . I did not.

09LX, whats the consensus on the biggest/widest 20" KO2 I can fit without cutting? removing mud flaps is ok. Also, if I do decide to go the 17" route, same question. Thanks gents!

Hello all- I have a 2015 LX. Looking to upgrade the tires to look a bit more stout on the stock wheels. What’s the biggest tire I can get without needing to make any modifications, including removing any mud flaps? I’d like to keep a smooth ride as well. Any specific brand recommendations? Thanks in advance. So helpful to have a knowledgeable group to be able to lean on.

So I just tried to put 275 70r18 KO2's on a set of 18x9 vision at +12mm offset on stock 2008 LC setup. I got pretty good amount of rubbing on both sides of the front bumper and wheel well. I have a 2" OME lift scheduled for next week, but not sure it will solve my problem. Any insight would be greatly appreciated. I ended up putting the same tires on the OEM wheels for now until I get the lift done and will try again.

Remember - lift won't change where you rub, just when. Your +12 offset pushes the wheel out quite a bit, hence the rubbing lock to lock on the fender liner. You'll need to remove/move/mold the plastic to avoid rub. Easiest way to do it would be to have them cycle the suspension when your OME lift is being installed. They'll remove the shock/coil and then cycle everything to see where you rub.
