Sign at our parking spot for a hike to Rasmussen Lakes in Ashley National Forest (back in UT). Driving in a little further would have saved me a land navigation snafu that added a bit (25%) to that little walk.

Bridge across Green River in Brown's Park National Wildlife Refuge barely in Colorado. The bridge has a weight limit of 3 tons (6000 pounds) and is quite narrow - 8 feet 5 inches as I recall.

Thanks. With three felines, we call it the mobile cat house. Bought it when the economy tanked and a semi-local dealer was hurting. Towing capacity is ~ 30k pounds ...

Will get captions tomorrow

I have a series from the bridge ... Will try to post more.

The bridge does have a limit on it

Wait for it

6,000 pounds. Given what we all know of curb weights, add in 200 pounds for me and 200-300 pounds of "stuff", it was more than just for pics that I had my girlfriend walk across ahead of me. I was counting on a decent engineering safety factor on this 50+ year old bridge. In the series of pics you can see significant deflection of the bridge. Not seen is the significant suction on the driver's seat.

Holy crap. Loaded I'm near 8k. ARB front and rear, Slee Sliders, larger tires, jack, recovery gear, fuel. That would have been scary. Spent 8 years in UT. Hope you got to see Flaming Gorge just north of there.

I figured I was within 10% of the weight limit fairly easily. If the 200 was in the shape I'd like it (similar to your setup), I would have backtracked thew 50 miles of dirt we had traveled to get to this point.

Yes we did. We were in and out of the Flaming Gorge and the pics of the critters may have actually been within the recreation area. We did not spend any time on the lake itself. If you know the area, you will appreciate our route in while driving the RV and towing. We came in on I-80 to Rock Springs, then down 191 to Vernal. I did not see much other than the road though my girlfriend enjoyed the views. I was either wide open throttle In low gear or utilizing the Jake Brake

That sagging would have made me pucker. Had to feel weird. Great shots.

You crazy man...I would've driven the extra 50 miles, or whatever it was. Too much of a span for me.
