Really nice! How did you get the bumper for so cheap?

I got very lucky. It was for sale on Amazon for around $750 or so, and I ignored it knowing it was a great deal. Then a few weeks later I got an email from my Hundy buyer saying he saw it dropped to $369. At that point I had to buy it. It was listed as "used, but like new condition". When I got it, it was still in shrink wrap. The box was a bit rough, but it was in perfect shape.

Dumb luck is the short answer.

With 4" lift have you considered a diff drop kit install? Your CVs must be screaming.

I have but haven't gotten that far yet. Saw a thread or two out there. Has a kit been put on the market yet?

In fact I think I heard a whisper that Slee was putting one out but you are correct, there is a thread on here that details the parts required and lays out the install process. Its very straight forward and inexpensive and essentially comprises a series of packers and lenghtened bolts to lower the diff mounting points. Any auto/engineering shop can supply the parts. No rocket science involved. I just purchased two very short lenghts of the required aluminium rods and had an engineering shop cut it into sections and bore the holes with accuracy. I picked up the necessary bolts in a engineering supply shop. Probably cost less that a $100 all up.

Great pics. Can I ask how much water came in the cab during the crossing?

Coterráneos: Curious to hear if your interiors got wet.

Not a single drop. Even though it was quite a long fording, both 200 series made it to the other side with dry interiors.

Unfortunately, the same cannot be said of the automatic transmission of the grey one. There seems to be a lesson here, somewhere... and a very expensive one, I might add.

Ouch. Painful.

There are transmission and axle breathers on my Land Rover. Does the 200 have these? I have to say I've never checked. If so, you can use a tube to route the breather up to the roof which prevents these kinds of problems.

You are absolutely right. In fact, the white one has elevated breathers and it hasn't had any problems, even in deeper crossings.

started to notice some wheel hop in the rough area's of the logging roads around 45mph, might have to make some suspension changes down the road...

I like the pic.
I drive roads like that regularly, the beast is a ton of fun, but yes, there is an annoying wheel hop. Currently I have OMEs on all 4s with heavy springs. When they wear down some more (only 46K on them) I will definitely be getting something else on to ease the ride.

Just bought a new watch and happened to google it. Look what came up on YouTube (wait for 60 seconds):

Jun Mitsuhashi drives that 200. Spoke to him twice at the Dakar bivouacs in 2010 and 2012. Very friendly, humble guy. Seen him ripping through dunes, speeding on a desert road and doing a WRC type circuit, sometimes at 140km/hr or more. Sweet.

Great pics. I took my 200 there in July '12. It's a playground for LCs
