How does the new suspension feel compared to the AHC?
I’ve got about 200 miles on this setup—around town, highway, corrugations, some flexy bits and have zero regrets.
Ride is subjective but for me AHC was great at dampening but terrible at rebound especially as my truck got heavier. When the suspension got compressed it rebounded super hard to the point it felt like a pogo stick. If I had kept AHC I would have gone down the path of adding a top hat spacer to get a little more down travel to make it a little more supple.
I totally stuffed the truck and have no loss of travel despite stiffer springs.
I’m able to go much faster off road in comfort. AHC is super durable but I tended to baby it given how heavy my truck is.

Never a dull subject and plenty of places to study. My wife didn’t understand until she had one hit… the tug is the drug.
Not my LX570, but was at a desert resort outside Dubai for 6 days for our honeymoon. The resort used LC200 exclusively for:
- Transporting guests
- Transporting falcons, eagles, & owls (Part of conservation efforts and falconry demonstrations)
- Dune bashing
