I love when I see these white military-bound LCs. Makes me feel extra cool driving my white LCHE (with the OEM Yakima basket).
Instead we have the JLTV and I'd rather have my 200 series and 70 series

Cruiser Heresy...lol. I suggest you delete these pics from your phone or computer to avoid future regret. Been there.
Hey man, I hear ya. I was expecting to get some flack for making that move. No doubt the 200 series has soul that the new ones don't have. I heard one YouTube reviewer say the 250's are "buzzy", and after owning both I can say that's true. BUT, for me (a guy that does 99% highway driving), the new one as a daily made more sense. I've taken the plunge now though. I got one more pic of my ol' 200 coming up....

Any tips or guidance for exploring here? I looked at both FR's on the map...looks like a fun day trip to go hike around.
Dolly Sods is beautiful in the fall. Here's what we did: start off from Route 28 past Seneca Rocks and turn up Jordan Run road (38°58'13.46" 79°17'0.76") and go up said Jordan Run road for 7.8 miles. Turn left at 39°04'15.82" 79°14'52.36" and go up to the top of the mountain. You will end up at Bear Rocks trail. Walk the trail and it will loop you right back to the parking lot. Drive south to the fork in the road at (38°58'28.21" 79°25'25.65") and stay straight onto Laneville road. You'll come out on County Route 32 at (38°59'50.87" 79°27'41.10"W). Turn right onto Route 32, and soon you'll be at Canaan Valley. Go past it into the Town of Davis, and if you time it right you can end up eating dinner at the Smokehouse Restaurant at the Blackwater Falls State Park lodge.
I know this answer was over-kill - but it was a fun day! I'm better at eating than hiking, so ending up with dinner after the beautiful drive was a great end to an awesome day in a Land Cruiser!

Picked up lunch in the morning from a local place and went on a nice day trip trail ride up to 10k ft with some friends yesterday.
Watched a Golden Eagle fly around below us. How often do you get to be above a soaring Golden Eagle!
