Finally made it to Montana and Glacier National Park. Some awesome vehicles out that way but my LX was everything I could have asked of it.

I drove out from Kintla last Tuesday morning. Had been camping there for the past week. Left early because it was getting so smoky from the fires that you could barely see to the end of the lake. I remember seeing your LX 570 as I was driving back in the day you were there. I was coming back from Logan Pass and was wondering what all the "do'ins" were at Polebridge. I just drove on through. I saw you parked towards the end and thought "nice LX!" I remember the license.

All packed up and ready to leave.

At the campsite. I wanted site #2 but it was occupied. This is site #9. It is closest to the creek.

The creek beside the campsite.

The lake on the last clear day. After this, you could not even see the mountains in the background. Yuk!

After leaving Glacier NP last Tuesday, morning, we went to Oregon City to visit the Benchmade Factory store and bought a couple of knives with custom engraving and then, off to Virginia City, NV for a couple of days.

Bummer was the LC suffered a couple of nasty scratches on the passenger side that I don't think will buff out. Oh well, the hazards of driving off road on a narrow single track.

Thanks man! Looks like you had a great trip and would have given you a thumbs up at Polebridge if I saw your Cruiser drive by.

All those cars there at Polebridge were for a wedding. The ceremony took place behind the Northern Lights. The wedding party came up to Kintla the next day. It was a real zoo. The mother of the bride offered me a bearclaw and told me about the event. Never seen so many take-out pizza boxes in my life. Coolers full of beer and other adult beverages. There had to be 25 people there. I just sat and watched the commotion. It was rather entertaining.

It was nice until the smoke, that is why we left early. We were going to stay another week but... Not to mention it was hot as blazes.

Sorry we missed each other. Maybe next time.
