Rig looks great, @smookinz . Seems like your spare is riding extremely low. I’d be whacking it on ledges. Can it raise at all on your swingout?
@VooDoo2 Ever experience (firsthand or secondhand) any drivetrain or frame damage due to the weight of the heavier builds?
View attachment 1881143 View attachment 1881144 Hey .. sharing my wheels and tires setup
Rock worrier wheels + BFG ko2's in 265/70/17
Small note!! All terrain Tires are way heavier than stock manufacturer tires
Those wheels look great in black. Are the valve stem protector rings brushed?
Any reason why you went with LT265/70R17 tires instead of the Toyota-recommended LT285/70R17 tires?
Yes the wheels rings r brushed and I noticed they r shinny when u just clean them
Tire wise , I wanted the aggressive look and side wall of BFG ko2's but went with smaller size to keep the cruiser drivable on daily basis , those tires are twice the weight Of the originals .. too much stress on drivetrain

What I have right now on the cruiser r 31.7inch in diameter , the 285's r almost 32.8 it will rub for sure "stock hight"I really like that brushed look.
Just FYI, Toyota recommends the LT285/70R17 tires for use on the 17" TRD wheels on the Land Cruiser: https://www.toyotapartsdeal.com/installation/40362D86F9D917D98825767800785BB2_Tundra_Sequoia_Land Cruiser TRD Alloy Wheel PTR45-34070-34120 IssF.pdf
Obviously, the tire size you chose will work, but there is no reason to be concerned about stress on the drivetrain with the recommended size tires.

because TRD wheels are designed for TRD modified cruisers I think
Btw , Nitto ridge grappler will be my next tires to try
That's amazing very excited to see your car , can you post some photos here if you don't mind??That's not correct. Toyota recommends the LT285/70R17 tires in combination with the TRD wheels on the STOCK LC200 - no rubbing whatsoever under ANY conditions. I've been running that combination for over six years (see my sig).
When I purchased my 2013 LC200 in 2012, the 17" TRD Rock Warrior wheels with the LT285/70R17 tires were a dealer option - it was even shown in the Land Cruiser brochure for the 2013's.

33.9 would be a 285/75/r17. He is talking about a 285/70r17. Less than 33" diameter in real life, depending on brand. That's amazing very excited to see your car , can you post some photos here if you don't mind??
..and your tires should be 33.9 in diameter compare to mine 31.7 inch
