Finally mounted the rear camera in the spare center cap. Looks great at 20'. I need to re-sand and re-paint, as this was a rush job. I was tired of no camera. My back up sensors detect the tire and latch, so I turned them off.
Stock camera, stock mount. Screw tabs cut off of mount. Center cap cut out. Mount epoxyed to inside of cap. Camera reinstalled 180° from stock. Epoxy putty used to smooth out everything (I need to re-sand and re-paint).Nicely done.
Is that the stock camera?
If so, where did you source an extension?
Smart man with the disconnect.Wirh the little pig tail, I can remove the spare and disconnect .
