How’s the ride so far ?

I found it was similar to the Toyota ride (after 60k miles) but slightly firmer and less body roll/sway particularly on bump city roads and highway. It's not a night and day difference IMO but if you're paying close attention you'll notice an improvement.

For the money I'm pleased with it. Just make sure you always put the taller rear spring on the RH side of the vehicle where the gas tank is, regardless of what Tough Dog says to do for US vehicles.

About 1.5-2" once it settled. The earlier photo from mtweller shows the suspension at initial install but it will settle another 1/2" or so. I have 34s in the photo below, and the rear springs were in the wrong position so the left side is about 3/4" taller than it should be and the right was 3/4" lower. I need to take new photos this summer now that I've swapped them but if you mentally average the left and right photos you'll get a pretty good idea.

I've already been out to Moab twice in the last month for 10 days total, and I feel like it wasn't nearly enough. I agree - spending a whole season...maybe a year would be best

I figured I'd a little more to this one. There was a nice several hundred foot drop on both sides of the truck as I pulled up to this spot. I'm actually pretty afraid of heights, and it was nauseating to look out the side windows. I figured it might be funny to pull up the side view mirror images to get a little different view, but that didn't help I carefully got out and walked back to launch the drone, and my wife who was driving the Tacoma asked why I didn't let the dog hop out to hang out with us. I said if I did he would have leapt a couple hundred feet down more than usual!

A little traumatized and hiding under the Tacoma at our next stop.

Cool, Matt! My wife and I visited The Wedge, a similar slim piece of rock that extends out along a canyon wall near the Buckhorn Draw road in Utah. You can't drive out on this little spit of rock. But I couldn't even walk out to the end. I was too freaked out by the drop on each side. I can't imagine doing what you did in the truck. Heights freak me out!

Thanks! Yes it is - and then we continued on to Chicken Corners after. I had never explored that area, but wow it was beautiful. My wife drove almost the whole day, and I thought for sure she'd be over it by the time we hit pavement again (8pm) but she and everyone else had a blast with all the great scenery. The short hike at the end of Chicken Corners was really cool too. Definitely ended up being one of our favorite days in Moab.

Did you grab any photos at the Wedge?

Mark, no pics with the Land Cruiser and it was mid-day so the lighting wasn't the best for great photography. That said, I grabbed a couple of snapshots of the area. The first is from the rim of the canyon looking north-ish towards The Wedge (red circle) and to the right of that (yellow circle) you can see the riparian area along the San Rafael river. When you drive down into Buckhorn Wash road you cross over the river and there are a lot of great places to camp. Also some cool pictograph areas and a large dinosaur footprint which are in the other pics below. This area is easy to drive (people were pulling large trailers in there) so very accessible UNLESS WET! Like much of southern Utah, it doesn't take too much moisture to turn the clay into very slick mud rendering the roads impassible. BTW, the whole San Rafael Swell/Lift area has some awesome roads and trails and dispersed camping all over the place.

These are great pics, Matt! Once you get tired of Moab (or the crowds around Moab), ha ha, you need to explore the San Rafael Swell/Lift areas and then on to the Escalante area. A bit more green blends into the color palette as there is more foliage in some of those areas and less people.

And its only another hour or so further than Moab.
