@sickspeed Check in the zipper pocket on the back of the 3rd row seats for your missing center headrest.
Well I'll be damned; it was there. I am making out like a bandit this week on the forums. Scored a used dvd remote from a member, downloaded a copy of the manual, and now have a center headrest for the third row thanks to my man, Mogwai!

Do you have a link to said manual (the repair manual, not the owner's manual)? Thanks.

Bottom of page 3, my post, get the downloaded version.

I thought that might be the case, was hoping for a free version. I am a cheap bastard so I will manually rip the archived site.

Yeah, archived site is jacked up anyways.

I was referring to the owners manual available through the toyota owners portal.

DAMN!!!!!!!!!!!!!! This site was invaluable!!!

Still no link?

Ck your data tag for year and month of mfg. My 2011 was mfg 10/10 so according to the manual I need 08-10, not the 2011-(?)
Ordered it from EPCDEP.com. 2+ months later CD arrived, long story, many emails to the Ukraine (thats were it was being shipped from).

I can hardly post this so my son is checking it on his computer between video games...He is on a PC and I will ck if a Mac can read it. He did say you need some kind of browser to read it so it seem to be a copy of a copy ect ect.

If someone buys one (or all) of these and wants to PM me an ISO, I'd be happy to code something up to extract all the pages and HTML-ify them, so as not to require a browser for future generations. I keep considering paying $15 for TIS access and doing that but I'm not sure I can write it within 3 days.

linuxgod, was that an off to make this info on the disk available for all? WOW, your good and a good person. How do I get this disk to you. I have heard of a PM but dont know what it means. Let me know the best way to make contact.

Thanks Guys. This would be awesome.

In progress...

I would still like to look at pictures on paper, of the service manual. Viewing this info on a computer screen is just like viewing on a microfiche system but with a clear picture and you do not have to watch your cafffeeen intake as closely.

Once it's in normal HTML (web browser) format you can print it. I might be able to generate one giant PDF of the data as well... really need to see how they formatted it.

For the past couple of years, I've been using LEXUS 2008 LX570 Repair Manual (RM08F0U) for my '08 LX, thought it may be of some use. It's a near TIS clone, but is missing certain items like the images and text for the "components" category of each section and a few other minor things. Their site seemed to have been down the past few months but recently became accessible again. Not sure what other manuals they have, it's a Russian site and I find it a pain to navigate when translated.

Also, even thought it this doesn't work anymore, this may be of interest or work for someone else; I had discovered a way to partially access TIS anytime for free after having had subscribed to the 2-day access option just once. I saved copies of the web-pages from my browser of the service manual pages I required for a couple of small jobs. After my subscription had expired, I was going over the files I had saved. I found I was able to click on all the web-links to other sectioned referenced in the page which I had not even visited while subscribed. I was actually able to navigate through a good portion of the manual online without having to login (for at least a whole year). I tried this again last month, but it wasn't working for me, so i assume they plugged this hole in their paywall.

Ditto on navigation for this one from Peru. But it's still up.

Index of /tdp_sit/data

Click through the folders and choose index2.html once you're in a particular model.

As far as I can tell for LC the folders translate this way. But there seems like there is some overlap.
So this translation isn't 100%. Also there is a lot of info on Non-US versions.

N00244 = LC 200 2014-2016
rm2660e = LC 200 2013-2014
rm0813e = LC 200 2007-2012
rm0811e = LC 200 2007-2008

Note on 2014-2016 (Use chrome and use translate option that pops up.)

I suspect the model year translation is wonky because different countries got different versions of the LC at different times. The rm0811e and rm0813e versions don't have the 3UR-FE engine at all, for instance, but rm19u0s and rm2660e do. rm19u0s is in Spanish though.

The version that 4gotalot's purchased uses SVGs, which is a challenge since Adobe stopped supported their SVG reader in 2009 due to numerous security problems. I'm looking at ImageMagick to see if I can easily convert those to something sane. Failing that, I was going to write a crawler/mini-browser to load, parse, and re-export the pages. However mirroring the above sites might be easier and faster.
