Looks amazing, I miss my set but ended up having a defective set! Stepped down to a 275/70 Ridge Grappler and already regret the size lol But drives incredible. Still want to swap to a bigger set already on my Tundra wheels. Anyone want a set of Ridge Grappler on Tundra wheels?? lol

Defective in what way?

The tire would balance but every time I hit 50-52mph on the dot it would shake the steering wheel violently. Big Brand tried to give me some b.s. excuses about my truck being lifted and death wobble this, blah blah blah. I was so pissed after the 5th visit in 1500 miles that I went back with my 16" wheels and 31" AT I bought the truck with. Truck drove perfect. They tested tires and mentioned they deform on the balancing machine. Not sure how much truth in that there is. But ended up swapping me over to a set of 275/70r18 Ridge Grappler they had in stock. The tire is excellent and acceleration almost feels like stock, no vibrations, it's honestly an excellent tire. But I just despise how small it looks compared to the 295/70 STT Pro. So my ego is telling me to go to a 295/70, 285/75 or 305/65 Ridge Grappler lol.

Have you checked the pinion angle? Mine drive great when loaded ( fridge, stove, Dutch oven , camping gear, etc) but shakes when empty.

Tundra wheels (badly scuffed now) with Cooper STT Pros 295/70/18

So according ot Coopers site, that tire is like a 34.5 inch tire, does it require the same modifications as a 35 to make useable? Is this too much tire for a DD and stock gears?

I would not suggest this thing for a daily. Of course I commute an hour and a half everyday. Nitro gears and front locker are on my list.

If you're hypersensitive about a slow vehicle getting slower, then I wouldn't recommend it. I didn't mind it at all, but after swapping back down to 275/70, the height and 12lb weight difference per tire was very noticeable. But I'm already looking to go back to a 295/70 or a 305/65 Ridge Grappler. The Cruiser is my daily. I retired my 2015 ram for her lol

Side note, if you have a 5 speed I would definitely go a 34"+ from the get go. That steep first gear would definitely help out. The other tire I would recommend would be the 285/70 Ridge Grappler. On the stat sheet it looked closer to a 295/70 and is basically identical to the 275/70 weight wise.

Stock height | 275/70/18 Falken WildPeak A/T3W | Black lugs | $60.00 worth of PDip on hardly used 2017 take-offs for $120.00 locally on Craig's List.

I love the look of the steelies. Are they the same specs across all years? A quick google search showed that the bolt pattern between the steelies and my LX wheels are different.

I don't know. To be clear, I ordered repainted Tundra steel wheels via Ebay. They're 18" X 8 and I run SpiderTrax spacers in the front. I think there's some difference in offset as discussed in this thread. They are significantly heavier.
