I really like the VPR front bumper for the 200. But mine is a 2014, the fitment is up to 2010. What are the other options you guys are liking? Anything that you guys would recommend? I have been through the forums, but wanted to ask directly if anyone has an opinion. Also, the ARB rear drawers, everyone seems to love them. But is there still a hold up on the exact fit for the 200 series? Lastly, the BP51 is the best option for suspension upgrades?

Thanks,

Dwight

ARB and Dobinsons are the only off the shelf at the moment until slee comes out with theirs. Jason @reevesci and I are talking about making bumpers for me and possibly the rest of the community. I like the idea of hand made, custom products and prefer the money go to the small business owner. Jason is a great dude to deal with.

Drawers you have ARB or Front Runner. I also emailed with David at TrekBoxx @TrekboxX . He's knocking out the 80s cargo options now but is open to 200 drawers next. If he makes stuff for us, I'm in. They are higher priced than the competitors but very quality stuff and he seems like a great dude.

Suspension, there are tons of options. I went with Tough Dog. The aussies can't be wrong aside from their beer.

Thanks T, looking forward to working on your bumpers. I'll finish up your sliders on Monday.

I posted this in the 80 section on David's @TrekboxX storage drawers.

"I will say this.. I got a chance to see a set of David's drawers a few weeks back on a friend of my SILs Jeep. I planned on building my own, but after seeing them in person, using them for a weekend and then doing the math for me to build them, I have to say they are worth every hard earned red cent in comparison to other offerings I've seen and used."

Serious questions regarding the VPR bumpers remain. We're all interested to see a build that's going on right now though with VPR front and back. Very interested to see how that goes, as I do think the LOOK of the front VPR is pretty sweet.

No indication as to air-bag compatibility, and the seeming lack of space to allow for the significant body movement looks questionable. 200 body work moves in relation to the bumper, so without adequate space between bumper and frame, you can do real damage.

I have a TJM T13 on the way from Australia. We'll see if it ever actually arrives....

We have a full drawer system with side/wing panels for the 200 series as well as the bumpers front and rear. Here are the drawer system specs, and that's a 200 series in the photos.

Crikeymike, that looks perfect. What does that drawer system run? I will return to the sire to see the bumper options as well.

So, how would you choose between ARB, Front Runner and Dobinsons? Unfortunately, there isn't anyone nearby that carries them, so I really don't know how to compare them.

It's (click on this link for current pricing) to a commercial address (ships on a pallet). Save a few hundred bucks if you pickup from our Miami warehouse.

What do you want to do with them?

If you want to sleep on them? I'd go with ARB or Dob because they are roughly the same height as the middle row seats when folded down...and makes a fantastic sleep surface.

Personally, I like the ARB's new drawer handle design because they are a single grab point to release/unlock. But frankly, the Dob looks (to my eyes) basically identical to the drawers I had in my 100 before ARB took them over. Very very close. Here's a shot of my older 100 drawers:

Pretty close to the Robinson's with the angled handle and separate lock..

Crikeymike, is that in the same configuration as pictured? 2 drawers, tie down points and sliders on the top shelf? And if so, do I order through the site?

I like the built in tie downs on the Dobinson - I added rail to mine but that's a nice touch, and reasonable price.

How does the fridge slide lock out so it doesn't slide when traveling?

There's a small push lock up under the part that slides out to lock it shut. Here, I was able to zoom in on one of the pics to show where it is.

Yeah, I like them too. They're spring loaded, so they lay flat unless you're hooking into them, and they're also counter-sunk into the top, so they don't stick up at all.

Is there also options for a cargo barrier and divider/shelf like on ARB drawer?

We don't offer those, sorry. Those hardly ever sold from ARB when I worked there, although cargo barriers are very common in Australia. Not sure why they never took off here.

What size drawer is the right fit for the 200 and how much does the whole kit weigh? Thanks!

This is the one for the 80/100/200 series (same drawer, but different wing panels for each truck).

The drawer system is right about 175 LBS all said and done with the side panels.

The greatest thing i ever did was get the Front Runner drawer system, this drawer is taller than most but when you put the rear seats down you can put a sheet of plywood across them and its level, makes a sleeping base from the rear window to the back of the front seats. you can PM me and give me and ill send pictures via text, not sure how to upload pics onto here. The only downside is that the drawer is a bit taller than most so some cargo area is sacrificed.
